We go through one of these pumps every year or two. They used to last years. My husband keeps the old ones and tries to buy replacement parts and rebuild them, but, again they aren't built to last. Based on my setup (28 ft of lift) this 6300 gph delivers more water than a 9,000 gallon pump I was considering. All pumps will have a lift (head height) chart in the description. This 6300 pump deliverers right at 4,000 gph at 28 ft-which makes this a very strong pump at that lift.. The 9,000 gallon I was considering went to 0 gallons at 20 feet.
