The directions need to have better pictures and be clearer. Once we figured out the first step. it went together easier. I've been using it for a bit. I needed due to mobility problems. I push on it as I walk around for support. It's not strong and moves. Hubby thinks its begun to lean to one side. The back has these side wings that are separate from it and absolutely are not sturdy. The arms even move when I get up. It's an ok purchase because my recliner broke from kids flopping in it. I definitely consider this an intermediate replacement. Hubby gave it to me so I'll baby it, but I don't think it'll last as long as expected. Oh. And the color is way darker than it looks in the pictures. The reclining function works well although the foot rest needs more padding to be comfortable to the back of your legs. We were hoping the lift part would last until I was older. I don't know if that'll be the case. Width is good. I'm 314 lbs. Heat and massage work well. ... show more

The chair performs as expected. It is a recliner and lift has heat and massage. The only issue is the seat is very hard. I would imagine due to all the heating massaging and lifting mechanisms

    • Beware of seller, return is nigtmare!

This seller will not send you prepaid label to return without multiple emails. Amazon A to Z, instructs you to pay for shipping yourself which is over $100. This is that absolute worst nightmare of an experience I had with Both a seller and Amazon! The chair is very hard and stiff and lacks cushion. The remote has 8 point font which elderly can't read. The power button to stand it up is on the side and they have to reach backwards as they are being lifted which puts them off balance. This chair was horrible. Seller tried to offer taking money off 40 , 80, then 50% to keep it. MULTIPLE emails over 14 days to get this returned. 2 calls to Amazon. 1 they told me to wait 48 hours and if seller didn't send prepaid label they would refund. When that 48 hours was over. I called back and was told I was misled. Nightmare! BEWARE ... show more

I needed to order a lift chair for my husband. This said it was for tall and big people, it is not for tall. His feet hang off, but for the deal we got, I am not complaining. It really does a great job on lifting him up. It is not fast, but it works good.
