Well, what can be said about a gooseneck mic stand. It either works or it doesn't. Much to my delight, it works and it works well. First, it is heavy. The purpose being, if it's heavy it won't vibrate. Second, the neck is firm and doesn't bend easily. This is important if you have a heavy or expensive microphone. You don't want the neck to bend when you have a heavy or expensive microphone, they can slip out and be damaged. Additionally, the clamp opens up to accommodate my keyboard stand. I can't imagine being more satisfied with such a stand.

This is a LONG stand and is perfect for my Shure SM57 which I use to record the audio of nature documentaries coming off my Zenith TV from 1991. This perfectly reaches my Zenith TV from 1991 so I can record the ambience of the space between sounds to create a sound profile so I can use it to make sound effects to sell to Spirit Halloween. I am currently using Florida Studio DAW and recording my sound daily and this makes it possible for me to do that which is a big help since if I probably had to buy this from one of those big name music stores, I would have to pay a fortune! Good thing we have all these re-labeled and marked-up products from overseas which makes a low income dweller like me burst into tears from the absolute monstrous savings I am getting from this platform, and I'm only getting started...

I'm continually looking for a flexible microphone gooseneck that will stay where it's put and at the same time is flexible and easy to position. Well, I'll keep looking for one with better flexibility. This one is okay but a little stiff and hard to position exactly. The clamp is strong enough to hold on to a wood type desk. The mic clip is well constructed and holds a Shure sm58 perfectly. I like that it has a screw adapter. Four stiff stars from me!

I don't use this as a microphone stand. I attached it to my raised flower bed to suspend my carnivorous plants over areas that have a lot of flying insects hanging around so they can score some snacks. The weight of the 2 plants I suspend for the day are about equivalent to a microphone, maybe heavier. This attached easily to the wall of my flowerbed and has held in place very well. Very maneuverable. Plenty of water drips all over the stand and it has not affected performance.

I like this microphone stand for his holding a old heavy microphone without issues. Yes, I takes a little effort to bend it, but it does bend. But the deal breaker for me is the stew part with the disc on the end. The pictures show it being attached to the end of the screw. It is not attached. Now, after using this stand 3or 4 times, the disc is gone, so I am left having to Jerry rig something to replace it. Very poor design.

I purchased this stand with the intention of using it as a podium stand. I own other flexible gooseneck stands and microphones, but unfortunately, this one is not very flexible. Adjusting its height or position is difficult, and the clamp struggles to keep it in place. Despite attempting to add rubber washers to stabilize the clamp, it still didn't work well. While it may suffice if you plan to keep it stationary, it's not suitable for accommodating different people's needs due to its lack of flexibility.
