I'm kind of stunned that this trimmer doesn't have more reviews than it currently does. Hands down, it's the best beard trimmer I've ever owned -- and I've used at least 10 different trimmers from Philips, Braun, and Wahl over the past few years. Andis is a professional barbershop brand, but their trimmers have always been too expensive for me to buy for home use. This model finally makes them accessible for me and most other buyers. The advantages to this trimmer include ceramic blades which are sharp but stay cool; a wider cutting deck than most other beard trimmers; a very long battery life; and a turbo mode. The trimmer will absolutely plow through any hair in turbo mode. My only gripe would be, why don't they just make turbo mode the regular cutting speed? Regardless, it's easy to turn it on. I like the digital readout of the battery life. A full trim of my entire beard (which is a 7mm length) took the battery life down from 100% to 95%. Very impressive. ... show more

Probably the best brand for beard trimmers. This mid-level price point is perfect for my needs. Travels well. Lightweight. Doesn’t heat up. Works well in the shower. Charges quickly and holds that charge for weeks. Highly recommend!

Works great! Easy to clean and feels good in the hand. Would be 5stars but with no guard on it it didn't quite cut as close as I like but I am very happy with the purchase!

It works ok. Doesn’t go as short as I’d like without a guard and with the guard it takes way more passes than other shavers to get the job done.

Needed a good beard trimmer and we have an Andis hair trimmer that is super high quality so I was hoping for similar/same in a beard type trimmer. Disappointing. A bit plasticy and lightweight vs the solid heavy "professional" feel of the other Andis trimmer. Still using it as I need one for a 2nd location but not nearly as good as my Norelco, eventually I will probably just buy another of those. ... show more

I would give it no stars if I could, very disappointed in this product as I have been a long time supporter of the brand. If you have thicker hair, don’t by this product, they don’t cut for anything and you’ll spend double the amount of time just trying to trim up. Spend the money on something better! ... show more

I have never been disappointed with the Andis corded Pet trimmers that I purchased for trimming my dogs several years ago, and this Andis beard trimmer dosen't disappoint either. It's a great quality trimmer, it's easy to use and cuts through my heavy beard precisely and with ease. The dial adjustable comb head to set trim length is a world apart from the single comb attachment on my old Wahl trimmer.
