Spent $450 (bought 2 sets) as a father's day gift. The chairs look great when 1st built, which is why I decided on 2 stars instead of 1, but they are so poorly made. These chairs are on the patio at my parents house and one person leaned against the back and the screws popped out. The description says they are wood and they most definitely are not. They do have stickers or what looks like wall paper on particle board that makes it look like wood. These chairs got a little wet one time and the seats started peeling and the hardware started popping out while barely leaning back into the back rest. If i would have know they were not actual wood then we would have bought something else that could stand a little water. The legs are rusting where the hardware is located. Would be more of a hassle trying to return them so we will just have to except the loss of the money at this point. I do not recommend if there is even a small chance of water getting on the chairs because they will fall apart! ... show more

I initially really liked these barstools. My kids really wanted them to swivel and these were a good compromise between what I wanted and what they wanted. The price was great too! They were easy to put together but they kind of fall apart easily too. The wood on the seat has already started to fade and the black paint rubs off very easily. The backs agave started to come loose as well. They will do for now- I just sharpie the black part and keep tightening the backs. Next time I’ll skip the swivel- while it’s a fun feature, they bang into my countertop all the time!! ... show more
