Used them twice then OOC due to injury. What i like is that they are warm, true to size but adjustable. They are water resistant but again, only used them twice but i feel they will have a long life. Soft and stretchy over the legs that dont chaff. The one thing that is lacking is the pocket sizes. They are small. I can get my keys in them but a phone or my large haves, no way. I wanna give 5, because I really do like these pants a lot. They breathe well, they're comfortable, the waist is adjustable, there are 2 pockets (my first pair of race pants didn't have any. My second had one, on the wrong side), they're stretchy, they fit over relatively bulky knee pads, and taper nicely throughthe lower leg. They check a lot of boxes, but I've got a couple gripes. The pockets are just barely small enough for it to take 2 hands to zip it closed with my phone in it. The ratchet mechanism feels a little cheap. Since I'm griping about little things, the inside of the waistband doesn't hold on to tucked-in jerseys very well. Overall, they're worth every penny. ... show more

For the price, these are really good mountain biking pants. I’ve used them for every ride I’ve done this season, mostly at bike parks. I haven’t crashed to test how tough they would be, but in every other respect they’ve been great. They still look pretty much new after dozens of DH laps and long ebike rides. Maybe my one complaint is that the pockets are a little small so a regular iPhone is a tight squeeze. But the adjustability of the fit is nice and they’re not too hot or cold.     • Not enough pockets, runs a little big, and no belt loops. Otherwise decent pants.

I think these run slightly big. I wear a 34 in Wrangler's and they're honestly a little too snug. Got a 34 in these, and I have them cinched all the way down and I'm afraid they'll sag if I have too much in my pockets. One feature I thought was going to be a big bonus, the integrated belt, has ended up being a downside for me personally. Since there are no normal belt loops, I can't even cinch these down tighter. If I lose a few pounds, I think I'll have to hang these up and size down. Will probably go with something that has normal belt loops. Also, the pockets on here are fine, but I'd really appreciate cargo pockets. This only has hip pockets. Not even any back pockets. I know these are MTB pants and back pockets aren't the highest priority when you're on the trails, but the option would be nice, especially after you get off the trail and maybe want to grab a bite to eat. Otherwise, these are very comfortable, they seem to breathe well, and they're good and flexible. Just did a 30 minute ride in them on flat ground, but I think they'll be perfectly fine on the trail. So I was skeptical buying a pair of 50 something dollar mountain bike pants. Namebrand pants cost much more than that. I don’t think any pants are worth 50 bucks but that’s just me so don’t listen to me on that one. I bought a pair of these riding pants and surprisingly they’re pretty decent quality. Love these. I was looking for something to wear when it's too cool for shorts but not so cold that I need thermal cycling tights. So in the 40-55 degree range. I debated on sizing as I'm closer to a 36 waist but prefer a trim fit, so I went with the 34. Worked out great. The material is stretchy and the ratchet strap snugs up the waist. Also like the stretch at the ankle for getting them on and off and keeping them snug. And they are constructed in a way to contour for your legs. At 6'1" (33" inseam) the length was good too.
