This loft bed is unbelievably solid and amazingly sturdy….no wobbling at all! It took a while to assemble it but if you have two people with Allen wrenches, it can go a lot faster! The directions are wonderfully clear and very detailed, no ambiguous instructions. All the parts were clearly marked and nothing was missing. There are many different sizes of hex screws used for assembling and just so things wouldn’t get mixed up, I put each type of screw in a small baggy and labeled it with type and quantity. Yeah, I know kind of OCD! But it was helpful because nothing got mixed up and the right size screw was always used. The way the screws came it was clear to me that it would be super easy to get them jumbled together. Anyway, moving on, in terms of the actual materials that the bed is comprised of, they are top notch…heavy duty powdered coated steel and thick sturdy shelves that are probably MDF but have a very nice, wood-like smooth finish. As stated before, screwing it all together did take some time but all the holes lined up perfectly! I have put together lots of furniture in my day and I don’t think I have ever experienced such precision….all the holes where the correct size, there were no missing screws or wrong sizes. It went together like a glove! And because of this meticulous calibration, the structure has amazing integrity….so solid and sturdy as I mentioned before. I had occasion to contact the company with a question through email and they responded very quickly and demonstrated such a high level of customer care and support. I was so impressed with their tone of voice. One could tell that they would bend over backwards to help you in any way they could. In this day and age…how refreshing…and how rare! I will be a customer for life with that kind of service. Also just a quick note about shipping….it was sent more than a week early, packed expertly, in a box that was not ripped or damaged! So if you are thinking about getting a loft bed…look no further! I spent hours and hours trolling Amazons pages, reading reviews etc. and this one scored very high in the ratings. This is a stunning piece of furniture and the price is incredibly modest for what you are getting! Just put this in your cart and be done with it….you will not be sorry! PS. The directions tell you to not tighten the screws until the end, which is what I did. I actually tightened them twice. I thought everything was pretty tight but there were a few that needed a little more torque. You will know when you are done because you can’t get it any tighter! Happy building!

Ok, story time lol. I was mainly looking for a Twin-sized Loft bed to help optimize the space in a very small bedroom. They say "you can't have it all in life," and I sought out to defy the quote. Things I wanted: A good quality space-saving SAFE/STURDY bed, a desk, a ladder that didn't hurt my feet as I went up/down, not too rough on the pocket$, and, of course, nice-looking. "I'm asking for TOO MUCH," I said to myself as I began to hunt. After clicking on bed after bed, saving and comparing and scrutinizing over each and every one posted that I liked AND THE REVIEWS, zooming in on pictures, observing ladder positions, etc., I came across this one. The desk space is pretty generous, the brown woodsy look is pretty nice [actually what I was going for,] there are 3 long shelves that make a smooth transition into what becomes the ladder (space-saving, storage included ^_^), and as an added bonus, there are USB and plug-in outlets included [that really come in handy,] AND the bed comes with some tiny lightbulbs [cute and Christmassy, WITH A REMOTE! - Not my style, but it was a nice touch.] Ok, moving on. I decided to go for it. The bed comes in. [WARNING, pieces are heavy!] My brother and I begin to build. Instructions are fairly easy. We had an Allen key that matched the one included, so we were able to build simultaneously. Once we were done, we were in awe of how sturdy it was and the good quality for the price, considering that we did not use the anti-tipping piece. The wooden parts are actually really smooth, and I feel very confident in leaving a piping hot or icy cold cup on it without a coaster. Wipes clean like nothing happened. [I still use a coaster though, just sayin' hehe.] Nothing has fallen off the shelves over the past month since I've had the bed, as I thought it would with my going up/down the ladder. As I mentioned the ladder being one of the main factors I was searching for, my feet do not hurt AT ALL, EVER! Since it's essentially part of the shelving, I LOVE that I can lay my entire foot FLAT on it, ESPECIALLY during really sleepy mornings. Oh, and speaking of HURT, I have bumped my head on this bed SO MANY TIMES, and when I tell you that not even ONCE HAS IT HURT!!!!!!!! Idk what type of metal this bed is composed of, but I'm soooo glad it's that one lol because that was a silent prayer of mine, to not hit my head too much. And even as I have, I've never felt EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to being mildly concussed. So, with all that being said, I am SO HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE! I have defied the "good, pretty, cheap" adage of NOT being able to possess all 3 at once. OBVIOUSLY, a good quality bed could either be good quality and cost much more, and even LOOK GOOD, but possibly not have all these features, or it can end up being absolute junk, ORRRRR you can knowingly get it CHEAP and it is, well, CHEAP. In this case, I have yet to find any flaws (aside from maybe instead of the string of mini bulbs, maybe LED strips instead?) If you're on the fence, after reading all of this, I'd say go for it. If I took THIS LONG to type out this review, it's because I TRULY FEEL THIS BED IS WORTH IT. Anywho, I hope this helps someone. Thanks for reading! The End ;P

Like many other reviewers- I was looking for an affordable, quality loft bed for my son’s bedroom. He was ready to upgrade to an older, more modern style room as he moves into his teenage years. He has a very small bedroom (10x10), and we were looking to create more room for him and his friends to hang out. This loft bed checked off so many boxes, and I would recommend! The assembly was a breeze. I assembled by myself (a semi-handy, DIY mom in her 30’s). All the screws came labeled, and lined up perfectly with drill holes. The instructions were easy to follow. The quality is very nice. Solid pieces and no wobbling. The only downside for me is the ladder. The shelving essentially doubles as a ladder. But, pulling up on the loft bed itself to get on top makes me nervous. I may look into purchasing more hardware to attach the bed to the wall in multiple places, and secure to the studs. Skip the anchors they send- they pull right out off the drywall. My son loves the desk! I love the outlet on the desk to plug in his gaming system without a bunch of hanging cords! The desk is very spacious and versatile. Overall- great purchase for the price! Wish it came with more securing hardware and an option for a standard ladder not attracted to the bed.

This thing is Awesome! It was a huge upgrade for my 10 year old. Good size and features for the value. I was worried it would be flimsy, but it is good quality. Construction was pretty simple, I put it together by myself.

I am very happy, really recommend this product, saves a lot of space in the bedroom specially if they are small. Only downside is that I cannot kiss my kids that often during the night when they are sleeping as they are very high :(
