I been looking for a real true 2160p 4k HDCP 2.2 18Gbps splitter/switcher all over Amazon and tried many of good brands that just would not work when you are looking for true 4k spec's that is needed to get the best 4k picture your TV or Projector can produce. This Splitter / Switcher fits that bill. If you are tired of running around trying to find a splitter / switcher, please try This one it works, but remember if you are going after the best 4k image that you can get out of your TV / Projector and need a splitter / switcher here are some tips you should follow. 1 buy this switch / switcher depending on what you are trying to do. 2 buy the same Brand HDMI cable for all your equipment you want hook up to your TV / Projector, I found out when you mix different brand HDMI cable you can get conflicting data read from HDMI cables that may be using cheap wire and different 4k spec's, so if you can use the same brand HDMI cable for all your equipment do it. 3 Keep all your HDMI cables the same Length if you can, if you have that 16ft HDMI cable for your projector its ok to have that one longer but keep the rest of your cables the same length. and last tip number 4 make sure you have true 4K TV, DVD Player, PROJECTOR, PS5 because if you don't you going to have problems, Remember True 4k starts at 2160p Resolution, NOT Upscale, Not 4k support, these are the names companies use that confuse customers looking for real 4k equipment, I hope this was helpful to people who want to stop playing around with fake 4k (1080p up scale) is not true 4k TV, 2160p is real 4k TV, enjoy true 4k people who is looking for it and want the truth. ... show more

    • it works... but I have to reconnect it each time I use it---too bad
It really works and splits the original 4k HDR atmos signal from my Nvidia shield streamer. In my case this signal goes simultaneously to a projector, virtual atmos SB-300 Monoprice sound bar and to not atmos ARCAM 7.2 AVR (for 5.1 signal, as the best available on nvidea shield tv). It did not work with a similarly advertised other device. Maybe, because Anber-Tech has EDID (and 4k/60hz), and the other did not (and only x30hz). UPDATE: it has a huge handshake problem. Every time I use it, it does not connect. And I need to disconnect power each time, and reconnect it again. I purchased a power switch for that and plugged in the device in it. ... show more

I needed to run 3 old RCA type connector TV's and 3 HDMI TV's and needed digital audio split to 2 receivers. The 2 inputs were Dish and Roku. Got everything hooked up and it was fantastic! The picture quality on all TV's were great including the old RCA type TV's thru a HDMI to RCA adapter. The 5.1 audio was excellent too. After 24 hrs all changed. When barely touching the unit it disconnects the screens, the IR remote stopped working and the once very clear 3 old TV's had static lines. Bottom line it was flawless for 24 hours and failed. It may have been a defective unit but I returned it for a refund and bought a similar 2 in 4 out model. I do not recommend this one. ... show more

    • Video Image Great but as others have written, handshake issue and no audio on outputs.
This unit sits in a very difficult to reach location so I need it to be "plug n play" but seems to need power turned off and back on again to get an output. Also, I need to audio to reach all four outputs and does not seem to do this. I get audio on the fiber optic and 3.5 mm connections but nothing coming over the HDMI outputs at the TV's. UPDATE: Audio does seem to work on all four outputs. Made a multitude of adjustments in input and output devices and finally achieved audio on all four outputs. (have no idea what made it work). I do still have the handshake challenge of having to switch off the power and then turn it back on again to get an output of video or audio. Lights and all show monitors connected and working but no pictures or audio until I plug the USB power and plug it back in again. Not good since it is in a remote location. ... show more
