Since the product is highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. Using the spoolie end, comb brow hairs upward, then outline the lower arch of the brow using the product on the brush end. This is a FANTASTIC eyebrow definer! I am a deep strawberry blonde ginger, so I purchased the Caramel shade of the ABH Dipbrow. I have to be careful to apply lightly, to avoid the “Uncle Leo eyebrows” (from Seinfeld), so it takes just a teeny bit of product on my brow brush, and then lots of tiny strokes through my brows to evenly distribute the colored wax to fill in my sparse and pale eyebrows. I included a photo of my finished eyebrows, please forgive the absence of makeup elsewhere. I recommend using the Anastasia Beverly Hills dual ended brow brush https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0149KGY3S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and then I proceed with the bizarre sounding “soap brow technique,” which involves setting eyebrows with an application of clear bar soap that has been swirled onto the spoolie end of the eyebrow brush. There are lots of videos on YouTube and such demonstrating the technique, but basically it makes my eyebrows stay brushed upwards and full looking for a more youthful appearance (I’m almost 47, so eyebrows matter!). The soap I use for my eyebrow setting is Pears Transparent Glycerin Soap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NX8KMZY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and I actually bought some little slide-top lip gloss tins so that I can slice a piece of the Pears Soap and put it into the container to make it easy to take it along when I travel. Its a fantastic product for brows, but the color is very red. Much redder than expected. Please be careful when choosing your brow shade as picking the right one is tricky. They also carry this product at Sephora so it would be worth it to go there and try on a couple colors or get a recommendation on a shade. The small pot of color will lasts a very long time. maybe even years. You will need to buy a brow brush and applicator to use. I discovered this product when I saw a stranger who had the best eyebrows I've ever seen. It was weird to ask how she had such nice brows but they really were worth asking about. She said " its ok I get asked a lot actually". She told me her secret was Anastasia dip brow pomade. So now you know. This is the best out there. yes it is expensive but again its the best and it lasts for years. ... show more

I ordered caramel from soft brown and it's pretty much the same color. I'm blonde but that color is too light. I dunno what to try now, maybe mixing two. I've been using this product for 4 yrs, love everything about I but can't find the right color.

I , like most of us, have been looking for an easy to apply long lasting, and realistic looking eyebrow makeup. I found this through reviews on amazon. I have been using it for about a week. It takes a little getting used to, but I really like it. It appears, that you use very little for each application, so should last me a long time..stays put for a full day. the key is to get a good stiff brush. I bought the caramel, but would probably go lighter next time. Gonna recommend it to my SIS, so you have to know that I like it. ... show more
