Since the product is highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. Using the spoolie end, comb brow hairs upward, then outline the lower arch of the brow using the product on the brush end. It is summer time now, and I have a sweaty oily face. My old eyebrow pencil wore out, and my coloring has changed from blonde to ash blonde. I read up on eyebrow treatments, and in my research I found this product. It is simple to use, and it stays on all day and doesn't seem to wipe off when I blot the sweat off my face. It does require a fairly stiff angled brush like the one in my picture. you will make a mess if you try to put it on with anything else. I don't think that it requires a spoolie. I touched it when it came to see what kind of texture I was getting into. It is slippery, and transferred easily to my fingertip, and was difficult to wipe off. At first, I thought it had a blonde tone to it, but in a different light that was not the case. It is like a warm grey color. The stuff in the pot is quite dark and I was unsure if it was suited to my fair complexion and light ash blonde hair. My first attempt at application was a bust. I tried to brush it on thickly like I was using my eyebrow pencil, and the result was way too dark and artificial looking. I learned in subsequent applications to touch the surface of the makeup lightly with the brush, and dab it lightly in the direction of the hairs onto my eyebrows with the edge of the brush. This way, you can vary the intensity of the eyebrows from light to dark. It isn't too hard to do. I tried applying it with my glasses off because I am very nearsighted, but that did not work out well on the left side. (I am right-handed.) So now I apply it with my glasses on, and that is much easier. I just got this makeup a few days ago, so I am still working on applying it well. I really like it because you only require the one product to apply, it doesn't need primer, It comes in a small container. I think it will last a long time, and it stays on all day. Cons are that it is a bit tricky to apply, and it is a bit dark for an ash blonde, and if you travel you will have to carry a brush that has pigment on the tip. Revision: After using this product for a few weeks, I find that this product is flawed. The edge of my eyebrow brush ran out of flat places to touch it to the product and the surface became chunky. Now, it is difficult to transfer the makeup onto the brush without picking up chunks and clumps. I am not sure how to deal with this issue; it will take some thought. I like the waterproof properties of this product, but it has become difficult to apply. And this is very soon after I acquired it. I am lowering my initial evaluation from five stars to three stars. ... show more

This is the second one I bought from Amazon. The first time I got blonde and this time I bought Taupe. The Taupe is really pretty. The first one I bought I used way past the shelf life and it became very dry (which is to be expected). Having a brand new one is such a game changer (who would of thought it). It looks so much better LOL! I read the reviews and some people seem to think its fake, and I wouldn't know any better, but it works great for me! ... show more

This product is the best eyebrow pomade! It is a great value, (even though it may seem a little steep) as this lasts for a very long time and a little bit goes a long way! You really do need the proper applicator brush tool, and be sure to blot before applying as the first day using this darker shade I looked like Dracula going into work. You will also will need a good eye make up remover to get this completely off at the end of the day. There are some products that I absolutely will not skimp on and make up is one of them. As I stated previously a little bit goes a long way and the one that I have (though I do not use it every day) has lasted years! I mix a little bit of the Auburn that I had gotten my hair was dark red then strawberry blonde - now that Iโ€™m back to blonde I purchased the Taupe and mix with the auburn. I will be purchasing the blonde one next, and hope to have the perfect shade for my ever changing hair colors. This product is easy to use goes on smoothly and stays put. Itโ€™s a soft cream, and with the right brush, it glides great. Holds so well. Lasts all day. My only complaint is itโ€™ll dry out before you can use half. So I wish it were smaller and thus less expensive. Itโ€™s easy to go heavy handed with it though. I just use it to touch up bare areas and have them more uniform, not create new, full eyebrows. ... show more

I discovered this product because I was searching through youtube eyebrow tutorials and a ton of girls were using it, so I decided to look it up and do some research on it. I have very light colored and sparse eyebrows, they are very patchy and bald in some areas so I've always penciled them in but a product I was using before was discontinued so I was worried about finding a new one. Another concern of mine was the fact that I am going on a camping trip for three days in about a month so I needed something waterproof that will stay on for a while! Anyway, I just tried this for the first time last night and it is AWESOME. I seriously wish I found it sooner. To find the right color for me, I looked at google images and saw what it looked like on other women who had tried it which really helped finding the color. It even stayed on overnight and I always sleep all over my face and it didn't rub off. I would definitely recommend this. It took a couple tries to get it just perfect, so I would say to practice a little bit before you wear it out. But it looks so much more real/natural than what I was using before and it stays on all day/night. I really am happy with this product ***UPDATE*** I've been using this for about a year now I think and I am still so in love. I tried Wunderbrow but nothing compares to Anastasia Dipbrow.
