If you need a compact hydraulic power pack, this unit is one worth considering. I'm rating it 5 stars, but honestly it's more of a 4.5 in my book. First, it's loud. Second, it doesn't sound like a piece of equipment that is going to provide years of service, but I have seen some of these go the distance, so I'm probably being critical. I picked this because I don't have a use case for a power pack very often. I mainly use this on one of the cheap Chinese hydraulic hose crimpers, and also with a couple of bottle jacks. For my use case, I would honestly prefer a non-electronic control to provide a little better proportional control over the pressure, especially when crimping. However, this has worked well. I just had to get comfortable blipping it on/off as I approached the target crimping pressure of around 4,000 PSI. I liked that this came with oil and was ready to go. When I received the pump the internal valve was not adjudted properly so the pressure would stop at 2000 psi. I adjusted the valve an it is working excelent

Received pump with two hoses that are incompatible with the pump. One of the worst experiences I've had in a long time and zero options for a fix. Now I have an expensive paperweight thanks for nothing

Works really good. Have used almost daily under really heavy load and has yet to have any issues. Don’t really like the pedal switch and will wire in a more appropriate hand remote for my personal needs but other than that I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Definitely recommend it. EDIT: Machine worked great up until Feb of 2026 when it was stolen from the back of the truck. Honestly surprised at the reliability of the machine considering the neglect of maintenance and dirty conditions while under extreme daily use. This is a well built kit for the money, although it wasn’t quite enough pressure for the intended purpose I had for it, it’s still going to be very useful in other scenarios.

Took a while to bleed the system however, once everything was stablized and hooked up, she did a terrific job. I wish the instructions we're more detailed but I ended up figuring it out.
