This is a very affordable option, great looking, and easy to install instructions. Also, the customer service is wonderful. You have to be patient because the time difference can take a bit to get in touch with them. I had an issue, and they quickly devised several solutions. I would say the knobs are super sensitive, so you have to be careful when cleaning the stove.

We got it as a temporary cooktop before we remodel our kitchen. The heat can be weak then too strong on the same setting. It works temporarily, but it is definitely a safety hazard. The knobs turn super easy. When you're just wiping the top of up with a rag, they don't click or making any noise. There have been multiple times where i've wiped the countertop and not realized or noticed that it's turned the knob on (theyre super smooth and dont lock or click) and then realized hours later that the burner has been on the entire time. Not safe. There should be a lock for the knobs. Thankfully my kids are old enough to know better than to put things on the stove just in case

This is an excellent cooktop for a great price. It is replacing a GE cooktop that I paid almost $900 back in 2019. However, after 4 years and 11 months, the GE cooktop stopped working due to a short in the unit. I couldn't get anyone to fix it due to not being able to find parts. The AMZCHEF cooktop is lighter and seems to be of good quality. However, please note that it is about 10mm larger on the length and width, so I had to cut my counter to get it to fit. Since my counter is laminate, it was easier to. However, if you have a granite or marble or any exotic countertop, you may need to contact a professional installer or go for another brand that is smaller. I was skeptical to purchase a cook top from Amazon. We usually go for the standard trip to Home Depot pay whatever they cost and get a decent product. We were amazed at this product for the cost. It’s 1/3 of the cost in stores and actually works better than our old(name brand) cooktop. We are pleased and would recommend to anyone. Great quality, easy install, boils super fast. Easy wipe clean

The dimensions were slightly different than the same size unit that was being replaced. This unit was almost an inch longer and less width than a Kenmore of the same stovetop size. This requires the countertop replaced as well. The item performs VERY WELL, not dissatisfied at all. One thing to note, these burners will get hot with nothing on them. They don't require a pot / pan to be there. Not a big deal as long as you are aware of it. Keep a can of Easyoff oven cleaner handy. It is about the only thing to keep the top clean and streak free. The dark shiny glass top shows EVERYTHING ! It does however performs very well

Installed the cooktop and 4 out of the 5 burners worked. Took it apart and found that the glass filament for the front left burner was broken. I'm installing for my in-laws over the holidays with a limited time. The company's offer was to send a part from China!. My only option in the time frame is to return via amazon and then buy another one. Not convenient at all. My in-laws are older and can't do the repair themselves. I do understand that a company has no control over the shipping company, but they do have control on responses to defective items.
