Does what it says on the tin. These are strong, simple, and faster than messing with snap swivels. I'd recommend giving these a try if you're currently using snap swivels!

I recently received the AMYSPORTS High Strength Saltwater Barrel Swivels Fishing Tackle through the Vine program, and this is my initial impression. Overall, the product seems well-made and as described – mostly. The stainless steel construction gives a sense of durability and the black nickel finish looks clean and corrosion-resistant. **Pros:** * **Durable & Corrosion-Resistant:** The stainless steel construction does appear robust and suitable for both saltwater and freshwater environments. The corrosion resistance is a big plus for longevity. * **Strong Snap:** I agree with the product description; the snap portion of these swivels seems very strong and reliable. I have no concerns about it failing. * **Smooth Swivels (Potentially):** While I haven't extensively tested them in the water yet, the swivel action seems smooth straight out of the package, suggesting they should perform as advertised in preventing line twist. I like that it should help with smoother casting and retrieval. * **Secure Fishing Clip Design:** The ability to quickly change lures is definitely a plus. The clip mechanism does seem secure, providing confidence that my tackle won't be lost during a fight. * **Heavy-Duty Strength:** The swivels appear to be built to withstand bigger fish, but I have not got to test the capacity of them yet. **Cons:** * **Sizing Discrepancy:** This is my main issue. The sizing chart provided seems inaccurate. I ordered a #4 swivel based on the supposed dimensions, but it's significantly larger than I anticipated. Had I known this, I definitely would have opted for a smaller size. This could be a significant problem for anglers trying to match swivel size to their line and target species. * **Potential Swivel Failure Point:** While the snap seems very strong, my concern lies with the rolling swivel itself. If there's a point of failure, I suspect it would be there, especially when dealing with extremely strong, pulling fish. (This is just a prediction based on the general design; I haven't experienced a failure yet.) **Overall:** The AMYSPORTS swivels seem like a decent product, particularly regarding the strength and durability of the snap component. These are good “speed” snaps. The included swivel is a bonus. They are a little on the large size so keep that in mind when ordering. They are extremely easy to use and make switching lures quick and easy. They are made well and designed well. I’ve been using speed clips for years. They give a “loop knot” action to your lures but only take a second to swap out. Stainless is perfect for saltwater use and the swivel makes them even more functional. They come in at a good price and are worth it.
