    • Good idea on paper, but not for active gameplay

Pros: The design with the raised surface to allow your skin to breathe is a nice touch. The sound reflection works fine with the ear covers, too. Cons: Ugh! I HATE it! There is no way to 'anchor' this silicone cover on the facial interface. This is most problematic on the nose-piece. If you plan on tightening the headset onto your face (headache inducing tight, mind you) so it cannot possibly move at all, and DON'T plan on shifting it for ANY reason, you would be fine. However, if you are sweating and pull it away from your face or even shift it for ANY reason, you're screwed. For THAT reason it is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever had to struggle with. Once you shift it even minimally, that nose area is no longer where is should be, and unless you take the headset off, remove that faceplate and resituate the cover to try to catch the tiny millimeter sliver of silicone in the groove, it's very uncomfortable. :( ... show more

I’m going to start writing more reviews, as I believe it’s essential to other potential consumers. So, first let me address the package of both items. Well priced 👍🏾 However, I personally would have liked the option for each product singularly as I have a silicone face cover from VR Cover. Regarding the silicone cover, it has no light leakage 👍🏾 However, for me, it made me sweat and was not as comfortable as the VR Cover one. This may be different for others... and, as aforementioned, it has NO light leakage which is great. Oh, it does cause a slight loss of FOV 👎🏾 Now, the ‘ear muffs’. I like them overall. They fit perfectly on the Quest 2 with the stock headstrap. They cover that area which gets dirty quickly 👍🏾 they obviously cause the head to get more hot, but this will occur with ‘over the head’ headphones anyway. They are made of a material which is very flexible so they can be stuffed in a case. The thing for me is that I didn’t want to have a wire from headphones or have to take them off and on when I take breaks. Also, they actually help the headset to stay stable on my head. It was definitely worth the price. I forgot to mention that the ‘gray’ color is pretty much identical to the Quest 2, so it looks ‘stock’ 👍🏾 ... show more

9/10 These are perfect... but, when they “amplify” or Focus the sound, you hear the true quality of the speakers. But do not let that comment deter you from getting these. Light, easy install, and epic sound. When you move the volume button up and down your oculus you have I’m guessing about 12 to 15 options for low to high sound. I keep mine on the very lowest single bar that has plenty loud now Buy them! ... show more

The sweatproof face cover is a must for Quest, the original face fit will soak with your sweat easily and smell badly after the first hour of use! So even before your first game, you should put on this silicon face cover and wipe it with towel regularly. A good hyenine face cover make sure the long last gaming life of Quest 2. Back to the ear muffs, what a simple an significatn upgrade! The audio is so much clearer without using any ear phone. I wasn't expecting much from these ear muffs (haven't tried the facial interface as I didn't get this set for those), but wow! The sound is much louder so I can turn down the volume and still hear great. The sound quality isn't any better, but I've never had an issue with the sound quality from my Quest 2 so I wasn't expecting that to improve anyway. They are super comfortable, I can hardly even tell they are there. I don't have a stock or elite strap, I have a third party strap so I was a bit worried the muffs might be hard to attach given how my strap attaches, but since they are flexible silicone it was no problem. ... show more

I try to stay pretty positive with my reviews but this is barely thicker then dish gloves. The Ear things are extremely odd and make a sound like putting a shell up to your ear. I mainly bought it for the ear muff. Easy gadet that prevent theaudio from bleeding out all the place. Don't have to turn up the volume to max just to hear stuff clearly. To get an idea how it's going to work, just cup your hands over your ears with the occulus on with sound. Same concept. It's obviously not going to sound like a true headphone/earbuds.
