I just got this AMVR Upgraded Version 2nd VR Stand. I had low expectations with this stand since the review on it is mixed. So I took a chance since I needed something to put my Quest 2 on and not always pack it away in the case or leave it on my chair seat to charge since in the case it would bend the cord. I was surprised when I took it out of the box and felt the plastic. It has a good thickness to it. It is definitely sturdy. I had it sitting on my table and I shook it a little to simulate bumping the table and it didn't even move. It's a solid build. It doesn't feel cheap to me. It was easy to put together. I took some photos from the unboxing I did. Since I didn't see any videos on this stand. My unboxing video is on my youtube channels it's under toobrown2toast games. This stand accommodates all of the major headsets and their accessories. It takes up a minimal amount of real-estate, and is easy to set up. I would recommend this if you are looking for a good stand that won’t break the bank.

I had been keeping my Oculus Rift S in its original case [which isn't terrible], then a "backpack" type storage, but this works and replaces everything else. This is perfect for "grab 'n play" as well as displaying your system in a Pro manner. I saw other models that hung facing downwards but didn't like the thought of dust just pooling up in the lens area. No problems with that here, and no accidental activation of the system. Also, not sure how it was happening with others, but this thing is not falling over unless you are actually throwing it. Very mild cons - Wish the main platform (where the headset rests) was padded - On the Rift S and many others, that spot is where critical cameras/sensors are, but this could be DIY'd pretty easily. Also, since it can be a display piece, it'd be nice if it was metallic or something a bit more "sleek". ... show more

I receive the Oculus Rift S as a Christmas present last month and wanted a way to store it. I originally purchased a case which meant I had to unplug it from my PC each time. I started searching for a stand and this stand looked alot like the other stands that were higher in price. I didn't see any reviews for this item and since it looked alot like the other stands I decided to take a chance. It went together so easy and I am able to store my controllers on the pegs in the opposite direction so the handles don't stick out since the space the stand is on is narrow. I am able to put the VR stand right above my PC. I know the product is new and has not stood the test of time so I will be back at a later time to update this review. A nice stand for my Rift S. It works as avertised and was very simple to assemble. It probably isn't the best choice if you can spend a little extra on a nice stand but it does it's job.

AMVR does it again! Without them my Rift S would not be as functional. Their controller grips, replacement facial interface padding and now this Rift S stand is beyond Awesome! The stand has a heavy base and holds the Rift S perfectly! Also there is padded feet at the bottom so no scratching the desk. Check out my pics! Keep it up AMVR.
