OK, so these were expected, I was playing a game in the oculus when I had to scratch my head... When I did the sound got louder, so I put both hands over my ears and was amazed at the sound of the oculus speakers... So when I saw this, I knew it would work.. I bought one and on with the review... Pro's - Brings the sound up almost 10X - Very impressive (Oculus speakers) that is.. They are easy to install They seem durable, made from a good silicone. Con's - I have long hair - It is a bit to get used to putting your vr.. I have the big after market strap, making it a bit difficult to put on with the inside design of these.. The rubber is good, but it could be a little more stiff, perhaps just slightly, so that it doesn't crumple as you put it on, then you may not have to dig and pull it into place. OVERALL This is a great product, works exactly as I anticipated it would, it brings out the sound of the Oculus speakers which is surprisingly good.. The 3D sound is super important for the immersive games, it has no moving parts, feels good and comfortable once you get them into place. I give it a couple thumbs up and a good buy star! If you have an oculus and you are playing a game that has music or 3D sound.. Put your hands over your ears.. you will get a demo of what these sound like. But better. Hope this helped. ... show more

Put these on my Oculus Quest 2 - easy to install. The sound is improved a lot - I could turn the volume down and the bass is much better. These are very light and much better than wearing headphones.

Love the additional sound they bring back to the ears. Only issue is I “run hot” meaning my body temperature goes up considerably while playing games like Beat Saber and the added flap sorta contains the heat and it recirculates which makes me sweat more. Other than that I love them.

I was looking for an alternative to headphones. One of the great things about the Quest is no wires, so adding a wire for headphones always seemed like it defeated the purpose. Connecting wireless Bluetooth headphones was an added step before I could feel fully immersed. There had to be better way. These redirect the sound to your ears instead of past them so going from nothing to these it seems as if you amplified the sound or turned it up, even though these are completely passive. The sound quality remains the quality of the Quest's speakers, but because the sound is directed to your ears you can turn it down. They’re great, even in a crowded room the higher volume that is achieved is excellent and the sound doesn’t disturb others. If you are looking for a perfect product to replace earbuds/headphones you are expecting to much, but it is a good product and can be useful when you just don't want anything stuck in your ears. ... show more

Ok... when I saw this product come up while looking for some kind of "sound enhancement", (headset, headphone, earbuds) for my Quest 2, I thought it was ridiculous. It looked funny, there wasn't any speaker incorporated into it... 'how can this possibly work' is what I was thinking. After looking into it a little deeper, the theory of the design seemed to make sense. Add to that the fact that it was relatively inexpensive, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did!! This product works really, really well. Much better than expected. IMO, the sound is amplified by around 50% if not more. You will probably NOT be disappointed. ... show more

Wow, what a great deal. Don't need to bother with headphones(cables, etc.). Sounds good, can be cleaned easily, does not get hot. Highly recommended for Oculus Quest 2. I use to have my volume up all the way with just the built in speakers. Now, i can reduce the volume by half. Also, it completely blocks out exterior noises. Had my phone on me and i could not hear it ringing. Also, these muffs also wraps around the Quest2's strap connector at the temple of the goggle. This is great, cause it keeps that part clean. After exercising and touching the stock strap with your sweaty hands, it will get dirty quick, another plus! This product is about $6 cheaper than the other one. If i get another Quest2, this would be a must. ... show more

Does what they're supposed to do. I actually review audio products, so knew what to expect. This increases volume, make soundstage more accurate, and raises bass from anemic to almost acceptable. Issue is, the Quest 2 has such high signal volume that even on the lowest volume now I hear all the hissing from their bad built in amp, and the little speakers are pretty bad to begin with. Anyway, it saves battery by allowing you to listen quieter and it sounds better than stock so 5-star. It is a tiny bit heavy but no big deal.. extra weight extra workout, right? Helps me get more immersed on Q2 for sure. Quality build, easy to snap on and install. I do NOT have an elite strap, just stock, so idk about compatibility if you had the elite strap. ... show more

    • Really wanted this to be my audio solution for my Quest 2

As far as the mold goes, this accessory fits great on the Quest 2 and I was extremely excited for it. As far as making the stock speakers louder, it does a great job at that. So why only 3 stars? Well, I think the fact that the silicone is right over the speakers (so that it gets funneled) doesn't do the sound quality any justice. I've found myself off-put by how low-quality some sounds were. Also, you know when you cup your ears or listen to seashells, you can "hear to ocean"? This sound is ALWAYS present, and is hard to hear when the game is playing, but it's enough to annoy me at quiet moments. Finally, if you're a glasses wearer who constantly adjusts your glasses while in VR, I'd also stay away. The ear muffs don't make it impossible to adjust your glasses, but it makes it much more cumbersome. If the two issues above don't bother you, I'd still give this accessory a shot! ... show more
