My son lo es this. It works as a stunt car on land. You could play with it in a pool. We played with it by the boat launch on the docks. It goes from water to land just fine. It does move pretty slow in the water - and with time the tires and part of the body start to fill with water and you then need to let it drain. If you want your kids to have a good time, even your adult kids, get them one of these these are awesome. They can do tricks with them. They can play with them for hours and they’re really fun. Even my adult kid loves to play with him. And he’s 73 years old.

This little RC car is way more powerful than I expected! It’s super fast on land and just as fun in water—it zips across the yard, the pool, and even handles sand like a champ. What really blew me away is how it stays upright no matter what. Flip it, spin it, hit a bump—somehow it always lands ready to keep going. Remote is comfy to use and car responds instantly to it. Size of the car is pretty humongous too. The 4WD and chunky tires give it serious grip, and the LED lights are a cool bonus for evening play. My nephew (and honestly, me too) can’t get enough of it.     • Fun car but battery doesn't last long enough
My son really enjoys driving this car around. The battery does not last long at all. Luckily it comes with an extra but it's still annoying to have to constantly change out and charge the batteries. It also doesn't drive the greatest in water.

    • Super fast RC car!
The media could not be loaded. This is a solid build and it goes really fast. I like how it is transparent. There is an option to turn the lights on and off. It is easy to use even for a smaller kid, even though they can't intentionally direct the car around. I'm giving it four stars because I'm not sure how water proof it is. After putting it in water there were water drops inside the body of the car. My kids also accidentally put the remote control in the water and it started to malfunction (the car was moving on its own without anything being pressed). I wish the the remote control had some waterproofing because this is a toy meant to be played near water and kids are not always careful. I removed the batteries from the controller and left it to dry, so hopefully it would work properly again. The battery life on this is decent, you also get a backup battery which is great, so you can have one charging while other is being played with and you can switch it when needed. ... show more

    • Great little amphibious stunt car!
The media could not be loaded. What is not to like about this little stunt car? The online ad recommends it for four through twelve years old. I had a seven-year-old boy, a nine-year old girl and two teenaged boys try it out, and they all had a great time with it. The car is easy to set up and operate. It only takes two screws to access the battery compartment. It comes furnished with two batteries so that one can charge while the other is used. A tiny screwdriver is included. It goes faster than you would expect, especially on concrete where it has good traction. The car is very responsive to remote commands. It does back flips and 360° spins. It plows through grass with only slightly slackened speed. It hits walls and flips, uninjured, to speed off in another direction. It is indeed amphibious. It dives off a diving board and switches to paddleboat action when it hits the water. We were not able to make it flip in the water, but it will turn, spin and do wheelies. It is a little slower in the water than on land due to increased resistance, also because it is a paddleboat rather than a racer. After water activity, if you stand the racer up on end, the back has six small holes that readily drain out any water that has entered the shell. The cost of the car is competitive with similar RC vehicles, especially with the current discount. I would highly recommend this little car.
