  • It is quick!
This RC car is very fast, durable and awesome. I would consider this to be a hobby RC car. It is very easy to handle and you can customize so much on it. It looks great and comes with cool decals and stickers to customize it and it does not flip a lot! Battery life is okay.

  • No Better Value for the Money
After trying this out for several days it has lived up to every expectation and more. I will compare it to the DEERC 210E that I purchased previously. They are both brushless bashers that come with a 3S battery, but the 210E is a bit less expensive. That said, what you get for that slightly higher price tag is amazing. Carbon fiber drive rods for each wheel, higher quality shocks, tires, body shell, controller, the works. The controller even has 4 channels so you can add accessories to your truck. And the handling is so clean and smooth it's like a sports car, whereas the 210E felt like a truck, and an overpowered one at that. Not to say the Omni-Terminator has less power, no no no ... this is by far faster than the 210E and has the torque to pop a wheelie on takeoff. But it holds a straight line the whole way, no pulling to one side on max acceleration like I found with the 210E, even over obstacles it still holds its line. And it is tough as they come, I had several bad jumps and bad angles at the ramp that sent the car flipping end over end multiple times with no issues other than an occasional body clip coming lose. I even flipped it on the pavement at full speed, and it slid for several feet before hitting the grass. But it has skid pads on the roof, so they got scuffed up, and the body was fine. Even the side mirrors have held so far. It is a bit front heavy though so getting backflips can be a challenge, it may be easier to do a front flip. And do to the front heavy nature if you are at full speed and slam on the brakes, it is likely to flip forward, so be aware of that. But if you control it right you can get an awesome stoppie. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this monster of an RC truck. I even did some aerial speed tests measuring the time it took to travel a fixed distance and the average of 15 runs, which honestly where all within milliseconds of each other, so super consistent power, came out to 28.4 MPH. I know they say up to 50 MPH under "Optimal" conditions, but my runs were as it came, without doing a thing to the car out of the box. I am sure if I messed with my suspension, gearing, or even a re-lubing the diffs I would get more speed, but I can't see why I need it. As it sits now, at top speed it is pretty much a dragster with almost no ability to turn without losing control. So, unless I am planning on racing it, 28 MPH is more than enough to shock my neighbors and get sick jumps. ... show more

  • Worth it, super fun!
Super fun right out of the box! Pure fun and fast. The battery life is pretty good, let's ya rip for a fair time before having to charge up. Super light weight, and the remote controller is easy to operate. Stability is great too. All around good buy.

  • Blazing Speed on a Budget: This RC Truck Delivers Thrills Right Out of the Box!
If you're hunting for an affordable RC truck that punches way above its price, look no further—this beast is a speed demon that had me grinning ear-to-ear! Setup was a total breeze; I had it zipping around in under 10 minutes straight from the packaging. The battery life holds up impressively, giving plenty of runtime for extended play sessions without constant recharges. Plus, the built-in USB charging right on the truck makes powering up super convenient—no fumbling with extra adapters. A word of caution: It's got some serious pep, which might be a bit much for little kids, but for adults or anyone with RC experience, it's pure fun. The stock wheels offer killer traction, gripping pavement, grass, and even sandy beaches like a pro—no slipping or bogging down. And yeah, did I mention it's faster than I anticipated? It flies across surfaces with surprising agility and power. Pros: Lightning-quick acceleration for the cost Quick setup and long-lasting battery Versatile traction on multiple terrains (pavement, grass, beach) Easy USB charging is integrated into the design Cons: Speed could overwhelm beginners or young children—start slow! Overall, this RC truck exceeds expectations in performance and value, making it a fantastic pick for hobbyists or as a gift for speed lovers. I've already logged hours of off-road adventures, and it's holding up great. Highly recommend if you want excitement without breaking the bank! ... show more

  • Bought 3 of these. All 3 had faulty manufacture issues that caused them to stop working.
Long review on item , seller, and Amazon customer service. This item worked great for about a month and a half. It was never wrecked. Never ran for too long and rarely (if at all) at full speed. Also, although it says waterproof, it was never used when wet outside. It just stopped in the middle of playing with it. Started making a loud popping sound. The wheels would turn but it would not go. We had bought the 2 yr extended warranty. So I reached out to file a claim. They informed me that the truck was still under manufacturer warranty and that warranty is for one year and that I needed to reach out to the seller, which is also the manufacturer for them to replace or repair it. So I reached out to Amazon in which Amazon agreed that that was true and they put me in touch with the seller. The seller told me that they only do replacement or refund after one month in our one month window had closed.. I questioned this and told them that both extended warranty insurance that I purchased and Amazon both told me that the manufacturer covers one year warranty on it.. They came back and basically said that the only thing they could do at this time was to send us part to fix it ourselves..?!!!! Like I’m supposed to know how to fix this? I didn’t purchase a $200 RC truck for it to break less than two months later and me try to figure out how to fix it.. not to mention I could break it even worse just trying to fix it myself because I wouldn’t know what I’m doing. Amazon customer service reached back out to us the following day to make sure the matter has been resolved. We informed them that that the matter had not been resolved. And told them what the seller was offering. Amazon customer service person told us that we should not have bought an RC remote control truck if we didn’t know how to work on it ourselves.. SERIOUSLY!!! I own a refrigerator. I don’t know how to repair it if it breaks…. But according to this man’s logic, I shouldn’t have bought it because I don’t know how to work on it if it breaks! What’s an absolute moron. Amazon., if you were reading this review, please go back and listen to that phone call. Having employees like that that work for you is a disgrace. They should be taught better. After ending the conversation with this man that we were clearly getting nowhere with, I called Customer Servis back. I asked to speak to someone higher up in management.. that person I spoke with wasn’t going to forward me to anybody he wanted to handle it himself. And eventually hung up on me.. Was it just a dropped call?.. I would think that if it was that they would’ve called me back since one of the first things he asked with my phone number. But he never called back. So I called again.. This time I got a woman and she was very helpful. Had an entirely different attitude and was very apologetic about my experience that I had gone through with both the seller and the other Amazon customer service representative. She had to put me on hold for a little bit while she tried to figure out how to help me. She came back on the line a few different times to apologize for having me wait and asked me to please wait just a little bit longer. Finally, she came back and told me that they were giving me a full refund and sending me a label so I could send the truck back to them.. AWESOME!!! that’s all I wanted was to return it and get a refund. She was able to accomplish that for me.. I will say this is the 3rd of this exact model RC truck that we have purchase. The first one lasted almost a year.. we did not buy the extended warranty on that one so there was nothing we could do once it broke. The second one we bought lasted 5-6 months and we were able to file a claim on it. The third one didn’t even make it to a second month. Something is going on with these trucks. They definitely don’t last nearly long enough for what you pay for them. The first one I was pretty pleased with if it costs me $209 and I could get a whole year out of it, it’s worth it to me. But it is not worth it if it can’t even make it 2 months or even 5 months. Will never purchase this brand again. I was already kind of thinking “3 strikes your out”. But now, after dealing with the seller, who is also the manufacturer, I definitely would never purchase from them again. And as for the Amazon customer service, specifically the man that called my husband today from Amazon. It would be in Amazons best interest to let him go.. He was not friendly, he was rude, he was not helpful, and he could not do his job properly. ... show more

  • Carbon upgrade is worth it. Test it before you bash it.
First purchased this truck for $190 on sale I didn’t know there was a carbon version at the time. I understood it was a Chinese brand but I have a process to help mitigate the lemons from companies with little to no quality control (listed below). I just wanted something to work well for the price to get me back into the hobby. I’ve had a traxxas, but mostly tyco cars growing up. This was my second hobby grade car. Day 1 I had issues with the esc. Pressing the throttle forward led to it continuing forward movement albeit slowly. Same for reverse. As if throttle trim was someone set for both forward and reverse. Restarted it and it worked but ultimately returned it because I learned that the carbon version had many upgrades for $50 and that others had esc issues and that I could potential keep having them. It’s better to return un damaged than hope for the best. THE REALITY OF BUYING FROM COMPANIES LIKE THIS: Part of the issue with these brands is they don’t have quality control. I know there’s a chance to have a lemon but if there are many people who do not, then I know there’s a quality versions that exist. It’s the price you pay for buying these brands (literally, R&D and quality control cost a company a lot of money that gets passed onto the consumer). These brands are cheap for a reason. This is a brand who has fixed issues and made newer ideations over there short time as a company. MY PROCESS FOR BUYING UNPROVEN BRANDS Here’s my advice purchasing brands like this. 1st. Do the research on the devices that do what you want them to do. Find people who do follow up reviews (9months living with the Rlaarlo terminator). Baby the device and keep the packaging. For an easily damaged RC car don’t hit jumps on your first ride. Don’t put the body on. Just drive it around your house, then outside. Then try a jump and keep pushing it until you learn it’s at least not an immediate issue because. This doesn’t help with long term but it’s very easy to return undamaged items, but with an item that can be very easy to damage they can and Rlarrlo will dock your return if you send back damage that you caused. When I returned it said they will issue the refund after the product is assessed and if damaged it will reflect the amount refunded. WHY I ULTIMATELY WENT WITH THE CARBON if I replaced the Alloy truck I likely would’ve been fine. I don’t think this version is a lemon. However, the carbon version is more like a 2.0 than another version of the car. It came out later and addressed some issues people discussed so rather than replace the truck I purchased the carbon version for $220 on sale and have had no issues with it. The carbon version has a more capable motor and esc, stronger drivetrain and spiraled differentials. For those who don’t really do RC stuff, those are quite impressive and never found on a truck of this size or price. It’s why it’s become so popular and even the hardcore hobbies have purchased it. For them it’s easy to replace items they think would wear quickly or to give upgrades to certain components. A similarly spect truck would be closer to $400. Now that $400 truck might have similar components but it also likely comes with better overall components. Arguably it’s cheaper to upgrade the carbon to the $400-500 level truck than it is to just purchase the more expensive truck. The question becomes if it’s worth your time and money. For someone experienced person or even someone with the money I can see wanting to just buy a ready to run tried and tested product for $400 and just have fun when they want, but for those who love tinkering or those getting into the hobby, this is more worth it. I might not jump the truck at a skate park like the YouTube videos show but being less experienced I have crashed and flipped it many times. I purchased this because I learned it was very strong. I have not broken anything yet but I am enjoying tinkering and want to start upgrading parts. They skimp on the differential fluid so that forced me to do research and have to take apart my truck to learn its internals. I installed the added pinion gear to increase its speed as well. I’ve enjoyed tinkering and now want to put bigger tires on it which will require upgrading certain components so it will handle the added stress. After the upgrades I will have spent close to what a traxxas Rustler ultimate will have costed but I got to do it myself and it is still about $100 cheaper than the Rustler. Hope this helps. Get the carbon version and test it first. If it works great, you got a good one. Have fun, it’s one of the best driving trucks for its size and money. ... show more

  • Don't even think about it any further.Trust me, get it.Thank me later
They need to put more stars up there for products like this. Because this is the best RC Truck that you can buy on here for anywhere near $200, it handles better than my traxxas hoss, It's the perfect size. Not too big. Not too small and it's super fast and you can just look at every single component on this beast and tell it's built with superb quality. I've bought r c trucks in this price range, and ones that cost more than this one and none of them are anywhere near the same level of quality as this truck, deerc, hypergo etc. comes nowhere near this in quality, trust me Nowhere near it. They're not even in the same ballpark. The way it's packaged all the things that come with it, i mean the owner's manual is a full sheet of paper sized, you can tell by the how the body feels, how the chassis' is aluminum fancy design engraved on the bottom. It just looks nice, real nice, you can buy all the upgrades you want on their site and seems to be that their primary focus on off-road category is this truck, that's what it looks like to me. They put Top Notch quality in this build, It's not just some random design that they're testing out and using the consumers to do so, nah, they put their focus on this truck for sure, everything about how it's built screams professional quality, I can't exert this enough, how absolutely blown away i am by this deal because, I wasn't expecting this much quality to be honest, I promise you, if you're thinking about getting one, and you don't get this one, You made a mistake, buddy, whatever you bought, send it back and get this. it's even got oil in the shocks right out of the box (good shocks too), designed alloy chassis that you could tell is a rigid power housing if you're on the fence, get off it, this is it right here,Get it thank me later..... ... show more
