Both the dinner plate and the dessert/salad plate are generous in size. I rarely use the dinner plates for this reason. They stack beautifully although I'm a little afraid of scratching. The bowls are deep and generously sized, they do take more shelf room. Both plates and bowls keep food warm. And, depending on what you're eating the food looks great - especially pasta on the matte black. The rim is subtle, I might have liked it a little taller, and perfect for blocking run away peas trying to escape over the edge. I do recommend these and paired with the rimmed pasta bowls. All are dishwasher self. While labeling saying microwave safe - I have dished designed for microwave use.

These dishes are very heavy but they also look great. They are dishwasher and microwave safe which is a huge benefit. Unfortunately, after one use a pretty decent sized chip happened that took a good chunk of the edge of the large dinner plate off. Hopefully this doesn't happen to the rest of the set.

Love the product. One of the large plates was chipped on delivery. Contacted them at the service email and they immediately sent me FOUR plates to replace the broken one. My family loves the look and feel of these.

They are beautiful plates. I loved them so much I decided to keep them, throw away the box, and let the return window pass. BIG MISTAKE! In less than 2 months, they already have marks on them. Sure, the package comes with an explanation that the plates are “stronger than metal” so metal silverware may mark them & they even give ways to get the marks off. But this easily? This soon? I can’t deal with having to either live with marked up (new) plates or having to constantly be behind every inevitable mark. These marked up plates are going to look so ugly on any table setting. That or I’ll have to add “cleaning the marks off the plates” to every dinner party to-do list. I wish I could return.
