I bought these as an alternative to your usual body wash because I was just unhappy with everything I'd buy- the smell, the lack of clean, all of what you need out of body wash. Well these became a TOTAL game changer! With or without a washcloth, I will still feel so clean after using these bars and they last for a good month as well!! I've gone through all the standard soaps at the supermarket - Ivory, Irish Spring, etc, and even the fancy oatmeal/avocado/coconut whatevers, and was never able to find anything that worked well with my skin and didn't smell like a chemical factory (I *hate* the usual sickly-sweet commercial smells - liked the one from Dr. Bronners, but it leaves a residue...) Been using these for almost two months, and I'm nothing but satisfied. They've got a customer from now on. Also, these suckers last a LOOOONG time. I just finished my first bar - and (rough guess) I'd have been half-way through my third bar of Zest or whatever by now. I have purchased so many "natural" soaps for myself and my child. My child has severe eczema to the point of bleeding. And I have extremely sensitive skin. We both really like this soap. We only use it for hand washing, but it does not get too soft and mushy like all other soaps we've tried. The scent is not great, but it is mild and pleasant. I'm fine with it because neither of us can handle parabens or heavy fragrance. Each bar is very large and lasts much longer than all of the others we've tried. And it's way less messy! ... show more

I love this soap but honestly, the scent is a little overpowering. It is a good scent but just too strong for me. I wanted the unscented but Amazon was sold out at the time of my order. It gives a rich lather that is very soothing to my dry skin. I like the purity of this soap. It does not have a lot of chemicals. I gave it a 4 star out of 5 because of the strong scent. I would have given a 5 but the scent while a nice scent is just too overpowering and it scents my whole bathroom. ... show more

I will be ordering the Amish soap all the time. It really cleans your skin leaves it soft and no soap scum feel. Most of all it makes your skin look clean and smooth. Smells good also. You definitely have a new customer. Thank you please keep making the soap and lotion and creams too.

Yes I like the soap, been using about a week, tried it from head to toes,so far no issues and sometimes I feel like I don't need .moisturizer. tried as shampoo, did quite well, will be sticking with this. Got the scented,wild flower smell ,not to strong. Even tried on teeth,no kidding was okay ,use to soap taste got a few bars shoved in my mouth for talking to much as a child. ... show more
