**I'm coming back to revise because while the first box didn't work anything like I had hoped, the company was in contact with me and sent me a replacement that works much better. I'm all for promoting a company who has great customer service, and they do. Thinking that the box I got the first time was faulty. ** This box would have been perfect for my trip to Cancun next Sunday. I received it yesterday. Opened it and everything looked good and how it was supposed to be. To take the password off default and put your own in, you have to slide a button on the bottom of the locking mechanism from A to B. This button is VERY, VERY hard to slide over. That in itself wasn't even really an issue. But I finally got it to slide into slot B and turned the numbers to change the password in it. Did that and slid it back to slot A only to realize it would not close. At ALL. I tried everything I could. I even went to put it back to the default password thinking I did something wrong. Could not get it to open. Perfect size and ok price but not a great product.

The safe was received exactly as described. The lock opened with the default combination (you pull on the lock front and it flips up) and after breaking the seal, the box opened easily. I had no problems setting the combination for myself. Instructions are included and can also be seen in the photos for the safe. The cable to secure the safe to something comes inside the safe. This would be perfect for keeping your wallet, keys, and sunglasses safe at the pool as long as you use the cable to keep someone from walking off with it. Keep your expectations realistic though. This is a plastic box with a metal lock on it. The lock is the strongest piece. If someone wants to get in to it, they can cut through the plastic with a saw or thermal lance. It's not going to stop someone that's determined, but it's going to keep kids at the pool from walking off with your stuff. I am planning on getting these for family members as gifts. Very happy with my purchase.

It is a good quality product just smaller than we thought. It holds the required papers for dorm use.

Okay, this is a handy lock box to take to the beach, poolside, or gym as a deterrent from anyone who wants to quickly run away with your stuff. It is not meant to be a STRONG box to prevent someone from breaking in as this can be done with minor tools like a screw driver, pliers, or hammer, but then again, who carries tools like that at a beach, poolside or a gym. Also, good to keep an "eyes view" of your stuff for the reasons above. Size wise, it can accommodate an Iphone14 pro max with case, a small thin wallet, some keys, and some cash. Which was nice. Lastly, some negative pressure can occur at times if brought on a plane or travelling different altitudes which may it difficult to open. As mentioned, a couple good taps, or a butter knife to gently pry open will help. This is an okay thing since it makes the case waterproof but can be a nuisance if you want to quickly access your stuff. Otherwise, a nice little lock box to have during your travels.

Door didn’t open when set to the 4 zeros as directed to program personal combination. Waste of time.

This safe is easy to program the code into, the numbers spin easily, even after being wet. The strap pretty thick and is long enough to secure to all different types and sizes of chairs, umbrella stands or cabana furniture. The seal for it work really well for keeping moisture out, even when exposed to rain or significant splashing. I do not know how it performs against being submerged in water, but it would surprise me if it wouldn't hold up against prolonged submersion in water. Definitely a good buy.

I like this safe. Makes me feel more secure about my valuables ( documents, money, etc) during traveling. It's a little small though. Only can fit your passports and some cash.
