Features

  • ARC-200 is a professional Stick Arc and Lift-TIG combo welding machine with an industrial level design. It is compatible with all electrodes: E6010, E6011, E6013, E7014, E7018, etc. The machine has an excellent Lift-TIG arc welding function; 5-200A comfortably welds thin stainless steel and other various metals.
  • Automatic selection feature detects input voltage automatically, allowing you to easily switch between 100~250V/50~60Hz input power. Almost all of the voltages and frequencies can be used. Adjustable arc force settings allow you to meet your custom welding needs.
  • Incorporates advanced IGBT inverter technology with superior arc characteristics and has excellent arc stability. 80% duty cycle at 200 amps ensures long time welding and the machine can still work normally with an extended power cord up to 700 feet. The power cord can resist power fluctuations and cable attenuation at any length.
  • ARC-200 has very powerful functions, making it easy to start and use. The machine has a built-in hot start function, anti-stick function, thrust adjustment function, current-intensity control function, and automatic compensation for voltage fluctuations: over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-current protection, and over-load protection.
  • ARC-200 Stick Arc with Lift-TIG can achieve the perfect weld. It is a welding machine of the highest level; the strength of its components makes it a reliable work tool for professionals or individuals. Package includes 7 feet of power cord, 10 feet of 300-Amp electrode holder assembly, 10 feet of 300-Amp grounding clamp assembly, and a 230V to 115V power adapter.
  • Nominal DC Open Circuit Voltage: 85-Voltage
  • Rated Input Power: 230V/10.6KVA/46A & 110V/6.2KVA/56A

Description

ARC-200DC is a professional Stick Arc with Lift-TIG welding machine using the advanced inverter technology. The welding power source can provide a stronger, more concentrated and more stable arc. When the stick and work-piece become shorter, the response will be faster. This means it is easier to design it as a welding machine with different dynamic characteristics, and it can even be adjusted as needed to make the arc softer or harder. Specifications: Rated Input Voltage: AC 100V-250V, Frequency: 50Hz & 60Hz; Rated Input Power: 230V/8.7KVA/37.9A & 115V/4.4KVA/38.5A; Current Range: 230V/10-200A & 115V/5-150A, Force Current: 230V/1-50A & 115V/1-15A; Rated Duty Cycle: 230V/80%@200A & 115V/80%@150A; Nominal DC Open Circuit Voltage: 85-Volt; Usable Electrode: 230V/1/16-1/4 in. & 115V/1/16-5/32 in., Power Factor: 0.93; Dimension: 17.0 x 7.5 x 12.0 in., Net Weight: 17.0 lbs., Packaging Size: 18.97 x 10.12 x 13.27 in., Packaging Weight: 23.26 lbs. • great welder for the money
I saw mixed reviews on this welder and was a little nervous about the purchase. However, I have run the welder 220 and it preforms well. Easy arc start, lays good beads, has 80% duty cycle, I have no complaints. I would recommend this welder to anyone. I have not tried it on 110 so I cannot speak to how it preforms on that. I used 7018 rods with it and they did great. ... show more

  • Fantastic welder
This small DC welder is 80 % duty cycle . Amazing. I have used it 2 times so far and it worked great for me. I only used it on 240 volts. I have not tried it on 120 volts and probably will never use it on 120 volts .I am very pleased with this purchase .

  • Lots of welder for the low price and size....
Perfect .. awesome .. AFFORDABLE welder for a SMAW welding student to practice at home...and for occasional ..portable ..shop general maintenance..as I own a snow plowing business. ..Surprisingly...The unit produced nice deep penetrating beads with electrode positive on heavier material ....as well as nice smooth work on lighter iron with electrode negative... using 7018 on mill scaled steel with some light traces of rust...... The cable leads and clamps were adequate , but not of super heavy cable for daily fabrication and industrial use ......as expected..for the price.....without dissatisfaction. The current led display seemed accurate within a few percent compared to a newer Lincoln I'm using at advanced welding B school.. as a comparison. It's small enough to fit in a milk crate..with the cables....and is only as heavy as a bowling ball. For the money...and portability .. you can't lose....... I was really surprised.... As far as duty cycle... I didn't want to overheat it and wreck it...so let's leave that to be determined by a guy with deep pockets.....but I never had it trip or pause AND....I welded 1" plate ...groove bevel joint ...6 inch vertical and overhead coupons for 4g and 5g position practice to get certified...both burning over 40 consecutive rods... and never had a duty cycle failure...FYI....the stacked welds I produced , with this inexpensive unit , were cut in two directions..and inspected by a certified inspector...they were sweet......and yes..now I'm certified... One last note...A Luxja 15.5 inch toaster cover ...sold on Amazon...made a perfect cover .. . ... show more

  • This is an outstanding machine
I had been teaching myself to weld with some low-end HF 120v welders and my welds were always crappy looking. I had a project in mind where I needed to weld 1/4" steel. I upgraded my garage with a 240v outlet and bought this Amico based on the reviews and specs. Wow! Huge difference in weld quality. I can still make crappy welds with bad technique or lack of knowledge, but a lot of my welds are starting to look very good. This machine's dual dial settings and amp readout help me to dial in what's needed for the work at hand, and really reduce sticking that plagues a newbie like me. Having great success with 7014 (1/8"), 7018 (3/32"), and 6013 (1/16") sticks. Haven't tried welding on 120v yet, but expect it would be fine. I've welding with settings at 20A, up to 115A, and it worked for every situation I've tried so far. I generally keep the Arc force dial between 5 and 7. If I have a bit of sticking, just a nudge on that dial or the amperage usually takes care of it. The long ground and electrode leads are really helpful. The quality of the lead wires and ends is very good; certainly a step up from entry level machines. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend. ... show more

  • Works great!
Works great, easy to set the heat for the right weld. Very portable and easy to use, I love the long cables that are provided to not have to move the main unit when welding things seems to give me a lot of room for welding things

  • VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE
I was shocked by how well it lays a bead. Even on 110v it welds very good and is very consistent. I am very surprised and happy with this budget welder. Would definitely recommend for anyone interested. It also welds 1/8 rod perfectly fine.

  • Excellent buy, super pleased with it.
To be clear, I am just learning to weld, so I am not even remotely an expert on the subject. I will say that I have been using this welder for a month or so and it has been just awesome. Way better than the HobbyArc I first tried. I have done a few projects so far and find it easy to use and very reliable. It is more my lack of skill and experience than a fault with the welder. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend. It probably isn't for a real professional, and maybe not for large scale production, but is ideal for the smaller projects and hobbyist. The largest items I have welded together is 2 steel 1/4" plates that were 18" circles. Worked great. Totally worth the money. ... show more
