    • Lightweight with a large base. A very good value.
I liked that it was lightweight. The new LED fixtures like this don't need to be heavy, and this one is not. The color changing is easy and has a very, very wide range. You get a lot of light, equivalent to about an old 100 W bulb. The final like is that it is ETL certified to assure a safe design. The light does have a proper ground wire. The diffuser is plastic, which is OK, but might discolor over a long time (years) versus glass which will always stay true. This is just a minor concern. Because the base is wide, I found it a bit tricky to install because you have to have both hands over your head to put on the wire nuts. This is solved by having a friend hold the fixture while you make the connections, or put a box on your step ladder to hold it close. There are easier mounting designs out there that are very easy to install with one person. Overall, this is a very nice fixture for the price. A good value. ... show more

12” overhead fixture was easy to install. Brightness goes from very warm, low light to a very bright cool light with a bluish cast. I only wish it had full written instructions instead of sending you to a video link—sometimes it’s faster to just look at a picture or skip to a page you need. I needed to get rid of the chandelier in my dining area, now work space, because I kept banging my into it! This is so much better m— it’s bright and has clean, simple lines. ... show more

Got this to replace an irritating fluorescent fixture that has been in one of my bathrooms since I moved into the house years ago. This light looks amazing. Nice sleek metal finish that I was afraid would look cheap, because of the price point, but didn't. No function problems noted. And while I couldn't rate the "easy to install" feature because I paid my electrician to do it (sorry, electricity scares the snot out of me), it took him less than 30 minutes to remove the old fixture and install this one in it's place. This light was used to replace an old 100w. Halogen light that kept on heating up the area. Build quality: This piece is made of plastic and metal. It felt flimsy when I had it in pieces but once installed. It was solid and I had no worries about it. Installation: The hardest part of installation was getting the wire nuts to bite into the wires. This is nothing due to the product but do to the installer(me). Installation was simple after I got past getting the wires connected. Align the screws with the holes on the base of the light and turn. Tightening the screws at the end and reassembling the housing. Overall this light has been amazing. With all the settings of like temperatures, I was able to dial in the lighting I wanted. This light will be cutting the energy usage by a huge fraction compared to the old halogen light that was installed. Pros: Easy installation (minus my user error) Wire nuts provided Multiple temperature settings Doesn’t heat up Cons: None so far. I will update as time passes and I have more usage time under my belt. ... show more

We recently upgraded all the old light fixtures in our house, and this flushmount made perhaps the greatest difference. It is sleek, attractive, and puts out terrific light. We put one in a basement hallway and another in a dim upstairs hall; both feel like different places now.

    • Works well and looks nice for the price.
My 5 star rating takes into consideration the $25 price tag. This is a budget fixture, and feels like it. It's extremely light weight, kind of like a movie prop that looks much more substantial than it really is. The metal is very thin and the light cover is plastic, not glass. But it actually looks pretty nice when installed, and puts out plenty of light. I got it yesterday and installed it in my 100 square foot laundry room last night. Installation was straight forward and typical for this type of fixture. The whole job took probably about 15 or 20 minutes. There is a switch on the bottom of the fixture (when the plastic light cover is still removed) to change light color temperature. The colder settings are extremely harsh IMHO, so I set mine to the 2d warmest and it's still very bright. Interior decorators will probably laugh at me, but for a laundry room light I'm fine with this budget fixture. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and liking. ... show more

    • Easy installation, wide color-temperature range
I received this light fixture and had it installed inside 20 minutes. Part of that time was looking for the switch to change color temperature. (It's visible when you take off the plastic shroud.) After turning off the power, I took off the old fixture and put the included screws into holes on the support bar on the electrical box, just a few turns. Then I used the included wire nuts to connect the white and black wires and then connected the green wire to the ground screw. Finally I slipped the screws through the keyholes on the fixture, rotated the fixture and then tightened the screws to flush the fixture up against the ceiling. I was surprised at how yellow the lowest temperature setting is and how almost blue the highest temperature is. My wife chose setting 3, so I guess that's a happy medium.
