Here is an honest review you want to see. I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day/Birthday. Once the package arrives it’s definitely on the heavier side. Everything was packed very neatly and literally not a single scratch. I was very very happy about that. I seen a review here saying there items were scratched. But for mine everything was very nicely coated and painted. However I highly recommend building this set on carpet to guarantee no scratches. If you place all the pieces (and there are many) on any hardwood floor I can definitely see your pieces getting scratches easily. My living room is full carpet so that made assembly less stressful. As far as assembly it was very easy to follow the guide BUT it does take time. I am a very handy guy and have built furniture before and this still took me literally 4-5 hours to build. I’m not even exaggerating. So just make sure you set time aside to get it done. Otherwise everything was very smooth. The drawers slide out very smooth. The Mirror has perfect lighting since there are 3 lighting setting. It is also very sturdy. I was also afraid it might be a little bit small but it was actually perfect size. Overall I was looking at all different kinds of vanity makeup desks on Amazon. I’m very glad I went with this one. ... show more

Overall I like the set, it’s heavy and not lightweight. It’s a very nice size and not small. It looks wonderful and just right for an adult as I bought it for myself.
