I've tried many weight vests and, usually, my biggest issue is they move around, feeling loose, no matter how tight I try to adjust the straps. I decided to try this out since the distance from the top of the harness to the straps was short which I found makes a huge difference! This stays in place so I don't have to think about it shifting around. Not only that but because this is a minimalist construction, it's more comfortable! I often told myself that vests that cover a lot of surface area help me break a sweat and get warmed up-- I've been lying to myself. Because this is comfortable, I can actually focus on my movements. I love that this is adjustable using weights I already own. Thank you for creating the first weight vest I own that won't end up on FB Marketplace! ... show more

This is cool. Right now, I have 12 kg on the font and same on the back. So 53 lb ish. I don't know whether it can hold 300 lb, but its comfortable, and I can add weight as I need to. I like it.

Its a good vest, comfortable, and its a good quality product, but it can't handle larger plates. I used a large 45 pound iron plate and it put too much stress on the plate holder, and cracked it. I only had it for 6 months. Also, it can be difficult to put on and remove when you have a lot of weight on it. Unless you can overhead press the weight you're adding, it won't work for you. ... show more

    • Excellent investment but there are financial and practical issues to keep in mind
I’ve used this vest for one day so far, transitioning from a 46-pound weighted vest. I’m excited to continue building strength with it. The vest itself is very light (about 6.5 lbs) and does not include additional weights—you’ll need to use gym weight plates or provide your own. The company claims it can hold up to 300 pounds, and it feels quite sturdy with 70 pounds loaded (two 35-lb plates, front and back). It’s both durable and stylish. A few considerations: adding or removing weights *absolutely* requires assistance for me, as I lack upper body strength compared to most other men. (I can’t even lift the vest over my head while wearing 70 pounds of added weight.) Also, while it’s advertised to support 300 pounds, achieving that requires purchasing separate pair of 15 cm extension sleeves ($47 before shipping and tax), as the vest only comes with 9.5 cm sleeves; those longer sleeves can be purchased on the company’s website. Overall, I would say that I’m going to keep both my 46-pound vest and this one. That way, I can wear the 46-pounds vest at times when the gym is closed, and then wear this heavier-capacity vest when the gym is open and help is around. ... show more
