When I purchased this I was a little worried because all the reviews said it takes 3+ hours to put together and it's very heavy and sometimes hardware was missing. We decided to give it a shot since we were using gift cards to cover the purchase. Once it got delivered it was a little heavy to get inside but I just used a dolly to move it. Once inside I laid it down and unpacked everything. At this point nothing was heavy anymore. I went over everything to make sure I had all pieces and hardware. Everything came perfectly packed and received everything I needed to put it together. Now the fun part, putting it all together. I have to say the instructions were very easy and took any worry I had away. It only took me about 2 hours to put together with the necessary screwdrivers and tools. If I would have used a drill it would have gone a lot quicker but I wouldn't recommend using one. Just stick to the screwdrivers. I have to say that this stand is extremely sturdy and built strong. I was very impressed with the final product and look. When I turned the electric fireplace on it turned on right away. The remote is easy to use and set up. This unit heats up our living room very quickly. Our living room is about 500 square feet. It's also nice to know we can have the fireplace going with no heat coming out as well. We purchased a brand new 58" TV for this stand and it fits perfectly. I definitely wouldn't go over 60" for it but the TV sits perfectly and finishes off the great look. The box arrived early and was handled with care. The box was heavy and awkward so decided to slide it to get it in our house. The instructions were easy to follow and the online video was a nice double reference. All the parts are labeled including the hardware. The instructions state to only use a hand screwdriver. It was a lot of screws to do manually. It was helpful to have a traditional screwdriver and a mini for tight spaces. The instructions state to have two people, I was able to assemble on my own. They say it takes approximately 2 hours to assemble. I don’t know what superhuman contractor was used to estimate this amount of time. It was over 150 screws and or cam locks to manually screw into holes that were very shallow. The most annoying part was the cam locks. Some of the holes were slightly large so the cam locks were twisting or falling out. Overall it was easy to put together but after a few hours I was over it. The product is nice and sturdy. It does not get as hot as I anticipated it is more like a small space heater. We are enjoying it so far and it a nice looking piece for the $125 we paid. ... show more

I bought this product as I was recently divorced and staying in a friend's large she shed. They ran on propane and I didn't want to use up any of that so I purchased this heater fireplace. The time to put it together was reasonable for the size. Took me appx 1.5 hours (I didn't have a drill to screw in the screws at the time, that was my next purchase 😁). I got it all together and turned it on and it didn't work 😭. I called Amazon up and they shipped me an entirely new one. Needless to say at that point I hadn't ordered the drill and really didn't want to disassemble one and reassemble another. So, per Amazon approval, I just swapped out the heating portion as that was one of the last things to be put in when assembling. Now that I have a functional heater it was time to put it to the test. Hands down the best I have ever encountered! Love the timed function and the different fireplace lighting features. The noise is very minimal. It heated the she shed VERY well. This is a sturdy well built piece of furniture. The doors lined up perfect the 1st time. The hinges function perfectly as a springed hinge. Now it has been 3 years and I live in a house vs a she shed. I still use this heater. It will heat my living/dinning room area in no time at all. And it is super cute and functional in any living space I currently have a 50 inch TV on it. Oh ... It is also super nice when I want to have a "cozy" or "romantic" evening as the fireplace can function without having the heat function on. ... show more
