This table is garbage. The top is like paper. My wife was wrapping Christmas gifts and put a piece of scotch tape on the corner. She pulled the tape off and the table top came with it. It’s cheap crap. Do not buy anything from Ameriwood. We bought 2 other items and they were worse than this. This might be the worst company ever!! ... show more

Fell in love with this piece when I saw it in a popular furniture site but it was under a different brand name and cost $100 more! When I saw it on Amazon I immediately ordered and had it in 2 days! Took several Hours for my husband to put together by himself but he said it was well planned Out and not difficult. Love the ambiance this creates. Bought it for a tv stand in our master bedroom. Assembly wasn’t too bad. It’s very sturdy and looks GREAT! Plenty of space for our gaming consoles, DVR & remotes/accessories. Loved the look of this fireplace/tv stand. I felt the color choice and design would be a style that wouldn’t go out in two years. If you’re looking for easy assemble, easy follow directions and no challenges this is medium on the difficulty level. I will note that I am a 28 year old female with a do it yourself attitude, but I’ve never used a power tool. The directions are in pictures so do not expect written instructions. Everything was labeled efficiently, well packed, no damage noted on any of the pieces, but you need to look at all the steps before you get started. Very important that you understand and decifer the pictures before you get started. It took four hours spread out to understand the instructions and put it together. I will say that my helper was two years old and that slowed me down. Hopefully he will become more handy in a few years. Only disappointment is two white specks on the inside of the fireplace. It’s annoying because I’m not sure how to get them out or how they even got in there. Could be styrofoam from packaging but I don’t know how it snuck it’s way inside the fireplace. I have chosen to live with it because I have no desire to take the stand apart and request a new one. ... show more

-I'm absolutely IN LOVE with my new coffee table. It looks so good in my space now, and for the price.. you can't beat it! It was fairly easy to put together, took no more than 30 minutes for me (and yes, I did it by myself!). Once I had it together, it made my living room look That much better! Overall the cabinet is beautiful and the fireplace works great. It's well designed, and looks like a quality piece of furniture. Missing a star for two significant blemishes in the white paint. I'll be able to fix them since there is no damage to the underlying wood. Assembly was straight forward and all pieces aligned perfectly. I did have to study the instruction drawings carefully to ensure the frame pieces were not upside down or flipped end to end. The fireplace works great. It allows you to set the temp, set a timer, adjust the lighting, run without heat, etc. Very happy customer with the the end product. ... show more

Looks nice but it is extremely cheap. It is covered with a paper like design for the “distressed” look. I placed corner protectors on all of my tables because I have a toddler and this was the only one where they completely peeled off and did damage. You get what you pay for.
