If you’re struggling with install since no instructions are included here are some notes to help since there aren’t any videos I could find on these particular headlights on YouTube. I installed these on my 2013 F-150 and they work great. Install is very easy once you know what you’re looking for. 1. Remove the headlights from your current vehicle (YouTube can help you here for sure) 2. (For a Ford F-150) there will be three connections on the back of the headlight. The connection in the middle has a tab that needs to be pushed in then the connection will pull out. Note that this connection will not have a bulb come out. The other two connections will twist counter clockwise and unlock. The bulbs will come out with these connections. 3. Set old headlight aside and bring your new one to the truck. 4. The new headlights will have the same three connections. The middle will be closed with a connection and the other two will have an opening with cables coming out. 5. Take your connection from the truck that doesn’t have a bulb and connect it to the middle connection 6. Take the connection from the truck with the small silver bulb and remove that bulb. To remove the bulb grab the bulb and pull. You may have to wiggle a bit to get it out. Once it’s out take that connection, find the small neon green connection on the headlight and plug it in where the bulb used to be. Tuck it in the hole and twist clockwise to lock 7. Take the blinker connection (orange bulb) and remove the bulb. Again just pull straight out. Connect this to the black connection where the bulb used to be. Tuck it in the opening and turn clockwise to lock. 8. Test out your lights to make sure everything lights up which it should if you followed these steps. 9. If everything is working put it back in the same location as the factory headlights and use the three screws to lock them down. 10. Enjoy your upgraded lights. Got these new headlights for my 2010 f150 xlt chrome. They came well packaged in one large box, with two smaller boxes for each headlight. No issues. Install was a breeze and completely plug and play with the existing harnesses. I upgraded to LEDs from at the same time and I highly recommend you do that at the same time to match the color temperature of the headlight led bar plus it modernized the whole look. To install the LEDs you need to pick up both h1 and h7s. I got both on Amazon from a company "Lasfit" which came out great and fit well. For the H1s you'll need to splice the headlamp ground wire (black) to the led ground (black). The hot wire can push into the headlight connector. For the H7s, they are plug in. Just be sure to match positive to positive. I also had to shave a little plastic from the dust cover with a razor to get it to fit. (No big deal) Once installed, the headlights have an up/down adjustment screw to level them. All in less than an hour to install and a huge upgrade. The lights were simple to install when you know you have to remove some bulbs , the lights seam to be higher than OEM lights , have had a few cars think I have them on high . AT first the seam to project more of the road surface ahead , not as much on the sides . the high beam not impressed yet , maybe grow into them or get use to them . they do look impressive on the truck and the led do light a large area when you get out to enter home , are they that much better than stock , verdict still out ... some things appear better some things so far as equal , these may be better at distance if that is what you need . but all around I may look at other options later. ... show more
