Very simple install. Removed 3 bolts, unplugged lights. Get a pair of pliers to help pull em off if needed. Did not even have to adjust the height of the lights. Once we installed in less than 30mins, I was ready to drive. I will update this review after a month. I am hoping to not see any condensation build up. This is a 2012 FX4. The light bars stayed on like DRL’s without any extra wire splicing. I plan on switching the bulbs to LED bulbs to get that bright white since these are still halogen lights. ... show more

These are not bright headlights. The bulbs are awefull. They have a pretty large gap in the front but that seems to be normal since my OEM headlights did the same. I need to replace the bulbs and see if they are still as dim.

    • Easy install, and easy to mod for LED bulbsf

Easy to install--direct oe fit to 2012 F150. Purchased these after my previous aftermarket lights were smashed hitting a deer. These installed easier, were very clearly of a much higher build quality, and include a rare plastic dust cover. I had to do a very slight modification to the housing so that my LED bulbs would fit by dremeling out the opening for the bulb just a smidge on either side. Also note if you intend to use led bulbs, you will likely have to do a form of direct wiring between the led and the housing. These use a single-connection type plug which is great and makes for super easy replacement if you stick to halogen. Will update in time because my previous lights began to experience issues with the led drl strip after about 8 months, so time will tell. ... show more

Over all I do like the way the look. They are well built but came with zero instructions. The low beams don’t line up the same, the right side ( as you see it from the seat) is aimed higher the the left side. Is this by design? Other than that they are a nice upgrade.

I bought these headlights a year ago for my 2010 F150, liked the design, less than a year into purchasing, about 9-10 months my passenger side had major water damage inside, most likely a bad seal, also my headlight beams quit working all together within a year, about 11 months. They only have a 90 day warranty, so I have to repurchase headlights now. ... show more

These headlights look great, and are much brighter than my OEM headlights. Easy to install. I had an issue with one headlight not working but AmeriLite had no issues with trading it for a new one. Customer service is fantastic.

So I previously bought a different set about two years ago different style with halos. Tho I liked them they had epic failure of the clear coat and lens cracking hence getting these. Any way I mentioned the previous light at to let you know I have been through the gambit with installing lights, the lights I installed a couple years ago took all kinds or wiring and splicing. Dangling connectors, zip ties and electrical tape. In fact I was embarrassed about what was hanging behind the lights. Not these they literally just plugged in to the wiring harness. I saw some people complaining about no directions but really they were not needed. They look clean no extra wiring. If I didn’t tell you you might think they were stock. So in my opinion these are a fantastic bet if you like the style. If you are reading this and there is no update than they are still preforming as desired. 7/31/2020 I will update if necessary ... show more
