ASSEMBLY / SETUP It took less than 10 minutes to assemble, and I set it up in a straight and fully expanded configuration. When you slant the sides, you can't expand them out as wide and they take up some of the mouse space. The included pads make it easy to slide the stand in and out, even with objects on top. ORGANIZATION This stand provides 3 open-back "shelves" for you to store items in. I prefer the accessibility, low-weight, and reduces bulkiness of these shelves compared to drawers. I'm able to fit: 2 laptops (with a dock), 2 keyboards, 2 mouses (mice?), 2 headphones, a KVM switch, and several wires & charging cables underneath these shelves! And there's bonus room on top for personal items (phone, glasses case, a sandwich haha) STURDINESS I have 2 monitors on top of this stand - LG 32UN550-W 4k 32" ...both are 18.5lbs and sit on either end of the fully expanded stand...I was a little nervous, but the stand doesn't bend under this weight at all. Even when raising/lowering the monitors. Overall, I totally recommend this stand for anyone with a dual-monitor desk setup and lots of long items they need to store (laptops, keyboards, notepads, etc.)

With bigger monitors my laptop does not fit in the middle unless I don't care about seeing the whole screens. But I use the shelf in the middle for my items that used to sit near the sides that I would have to over reach for.

I needed a monitor stand and lucked into this one with a sale. It's perfect for my needs. I only have one moniter and needed to raise it and a smaller desk so it needed to fit and give me extra room for my "needs". My Samsung Fold fits perfect in the available slot and my charger fits through the access under it. I thought I was going to need to collapse it but it works perfect with the exact size without doing so. All solid wood (not particle board or press board) and easy to put together. And quick delivery too.
