This American Standard toilet lever 'finishes' the bathroom. While it might seem a toilet lever is inconsequential, this one is beautiful, functional, and made of high quality materials. Unlike the ones normally found in big box stores, this lever has a heftiness to it that lets one know it is built to last. Additionally, it is (strange as it seems to say about a toilet lever) a beautiful piece that is a perfect finishing touch to complete the Townsend faucet and towel bars I used. It’s a nice handle, matches my faucet and towel ring, but I was disappointed because the handle is not solid. It is hollow underneath. I have a Delta handle which is similar in style but is solid.

My townhouse's downstairs toilet is a mid 80s BRIGGS and I had two choices: Either replace the entire throne or give it an overhaul. It needed a new flush kit and the flush lever bar starting corroding quite a while ago. Based on its overall condition and being bone color, I opted for the overhaul. But boy, was it trying to find a decent quality lever that would also fit and look nice... Patience and a stroke of luck lead me to this lever. At under 13 bucks on a "new and used" that was merely missing the instructions, it was worth the risk of checking if I could make this one fit.
