We bought the AS 2403.128.021 (this model has a 1000 rating by established Federal "flush standards") to replace a 2-peice Gerber that, after three return visits from the plumber who installed it, replaced the Gerber, at my insistence, with the AS. The Gerber would neither flush thoroughly; nor stop a persistent, slow leak in the refill assembly. Despite protestations from the "pro", I purchased the described AS model, which was "cast" in Costa Rica, and assembled in the US. Excellent toilet. Meets ADA standards; fills quickly, quietly and completely; surprisingly clean and thorough flushes; one-peice design is sleek, modern, and easy to keep clean; the included @ $50 slow-close seat is functional and well-made, although of plastic; and, perhaps most worth-while, there is a significant reduction in water usage. We were so impressed with this AS Cadet unit that we purchased another for our guest bathroom. Although this second toilet was "cast" in Mexico, it has the same positive attributes as the Costa Rican model, except for the flush stand-pipe assembly. That required some rookie, time-consuming adjustments, but now works as well as the earlier purchase. More importantly for you, dear reader, I am a Harry Homeowner. I pulled - and replaced the 40 year-old AS 2 peice toilet by myself - NO PLUMBER! NO LEAKS! One wax ring - one new flexible water line connection. Flush away! ... show more

Got it from Amazon.com with free shipping. Great price ! The product arrived in four days. Plumber removed it out of the package and it was damaged in transit. I did an online return and Amazon was so quick they sent the return label through UPS and UPS picked up the returned item the next day. In five days I got the replacement. Installed it and am very happy. It uses so little water and flushes with such ease that it is indeed a great replacement for my 50 year old toilet which takes 3.4 gallons of water to flush as opposed to 1.3 gallons for the new one. So much for water savings. This particular model comes with a slow closing seat cover (not all models come with it, so watch out for the correct no. product) and it's great. Overall my experience with Amazon on replacement and the product with its functionality are both exuberant. After much research on toilets, I picked the 2nd highest rated lowflo toilet. because I wanted to go American (the Toto being #1). Well, the flush is pretty anemic, though some of that is just getting used to the low-flo-ness of it. With more substance to handle though, it sometimes has to be flushed twice. From my research, I thought the flushing twice business was a thing of the past with these new, improved low flo toilets. And the flushing twice sort of does away with the water efficiency. I'm not sure what the EverClean surface is all about. I have to wipe down the sides more than any other toilet I've had. So, it looks pretty and has a fairly quiet flush, but don't expect the flush to wow you. And that is what it's all about. ... show more
