This gun cabinet works great for my little gun collection. I currently have 1 Ar-15 a bullpup shotgun a 9mm pistol and my 7 year olds bb gun in there. I also have all my ammo and mags in the top part of the cabinet and I still have plenty of room for a few more firearms! Very well pleased with this gun cabinet! This gun cabinet arrived well ahead of the expected delivery date in perfect working condition. Both locks work well and easily. I was surprised that the cabinet came with not 1, not 2, but 4 keys! It also came with hardware to bolt the cabinet to my wall. (If you can operate a drill, you can bolt it to your wall.) Keep in mind that this cabinet is not as protective as a fireproof safe, but it does look great in my cave and it keeps my kids from messing with my guns; which is all I ask for.

Fine gun cabinet, not sure what everyone else was expecting. You will not be able to force your way in without some sort of tools, so It's at least child proof. A burgler would also have a very hard time removing the whole safe, but I suppose he may be able to open it if he was determined. With that said this is gun cabinet, not a safe. This is designed for storage only, and keeping children out. This fit nicely in a small closet in my apartment. I love the added pistol safe, really keeps everything organized. They did cheap out with the lock in the pistol cabinet, I would have preferred the same type of lock used for the rifle housing. Also this was delivered while I was at work, and the box had a giant picture of the safe on the front. Not sure I wanted the whole neighborhood to know I had several firearms, but still overall I like this product.

As has been mentioned by a fair number of other reviewers, the Cabinet arrived pre-dented. In fact it had the same dent in the same corner of the front as another reviewer pictured. It did not impact the door operation, and since its not for display, not worth the trouble to return. Appears to be either due to a lack of wrapping for shipping, or more likely happens before shipping, since there was no obvious damage to the box it came in, and the corners are covered by a hard cardboard liner. The door is ok when locked, but there is play as the locking is not tight. [a good 1/4"]. Overall, decent for storage of guns, in my case handguns that are stacked in boxes, but its a metal cabinet not a safe. If someone had a little time and a good crowbar they could likely pry the door. But, its still lot better than no lock up at all. Heavy enough once full, so that you couldn't just pick it up and walk away, unless there were two of you. Wish it had a small hole or holes on the sides or in the flooring of the pistol compartment so one could hang a small de-humidifier.

Seems like quality build of the cabinet. The locks seem a little cheap, I worry that I may have to replace them after some use. There are no instructions about mounting to wall or floor but its not issue, it did come with bolts but you may need to buy or have some small pieces of wood handy for proper mount. It won't hold a rifle longer than 22" my 12 GA just barely fit and had to be put in cabinet at angle. I like this cabinet but it certainly wouldn't hurt if they made this an inch taller and wider. Everything is tight in the rifle cabinet and that's where just a little more height and width would makes this perfect size. Mounted to a wall or floor would make this hard to steal and it seems like it would be a task to break into but certainly not impossible. Will do until I can upgrade to gun safe.

Too small! Was nothing like I thought it was going to be! The person I bought it for his guns didn't even fit. It was like a bought a filing cabinet. That is how light it was and what poor quality I thought it was. My one year old daughter could've pushed it over. I wasn't satisfied with it at all. It was a Christmas present and I was very dissapointed. It was also delivered with a dent. :-(

So, Sturdiness well it’s not a Safe! It is a cabinet and it licks my Guns up well enough to keep my son from getting to them. Though I didn’t let him try. I ordered a Fingerprint Cabinet Lock to put on top small safe box. Keep the keys for long gun section in there. So, now I have quick access to my pistols and all my guns are secured to Colorado State Standards (can’t say about California or others.) Mine arrived unscathed but I see it could dent easily or be pried open. Low level security you judge your needs. Looks like a safe but I keep it in a closet where no one sees it anyway. I don’t show off my little collection anyway because it makes some people uncomfortable.
