I was gonna go with a cheaper MATX in previous series AMD Ryzen. I ever asked her. I saw a combo deal that had the tomahawk motherboard included. I just had to get it. Paired with my GTX 3070Ti and using the out-of-the-box PBO (AMD Ryzen Master software), I play all of my games on the highest graphics settings and everything is absolutely perfect! For me, I can't image needing to pay the extra $ for a higher end CPU (couple hundred dollars cheaper than the 5950x). I'm sure I could use custom overclocking, but honestly, I just don't see the need as the Precision Boost Overdrive works just fine. ... show more

It's a really amazing processor but it gets really hot on a common-use basis, you will require an upgraded cooling solution for it if you intend to get the best of it.

I bough these as a pair and the mono bios is not compatible with that cpu ! Check bios update and flash it for full performance.

I was building a PC for VR and it works fairly well it’s having a little trouble with the D ram it doesn’t wanna recognize both sides so I’m at half 32 instead of 64 board is very nice though it’s a sweet set up for the price no doubt
