However, i can definitely see how some reviewers complained about it hurting their eyes. The matte texture adds a visual filter (for lack of a better description) to the images on the screen. It is particularly noticeable on the color white and does give me weird focus issues sometimes but keeping my phone on dark mode seems to be the best solution. (Amazon plz give us dark mode) It’s the price I’ll pay for a nice matte surface. The screen protector eliminates glare even in direct sunlight and finger oil smudges. If you hate glare or oily smudges, this screen protector will solve that. Maybe not the most durable since I’ve had quite a few develop hairline fractures. But I keep buying replacements because my screen looks great with it on. I wanted to try a new screen protector since I hate reflections. These are better than expected. The glass just barely covers the screen but offers enough space to not interfere with cases. It has smoothed glass around the camera and sensors area but is otherwise matte. I tried other screen protectors that leave a holographic effect on the screen. That is not the case here. The screen remains crystal clear and responsive. It’s smoother than regular glass screen protectors. Fingerprints are non existent. The protectors come with a tray that make it a breeze to put on. I initially had a very hard time installing this cover and ended up going through both protectors and still couldn't get rid of the bubbles. It was very frustrating, as I literally spent probably 20 minutes trying to smooth out the bubbles, but once they are there are there is dust on the sticky side, there's nothing you can do. I reached out to the company to provide feedback and they sent me a replacement set ASAP. This time, I cleaned everything extremely thoroughly and used the dust removal sticker repeatedly until literally not a speck of dust was on the phone screen, then applied the cover quickly. I think the key is to do that and to make sure it's aligned, then lay it down and press down on the screen. A few bubbles popped up, but once I lifted from the side and smoothed it back down, and also used the included dust cloth to press down more, the bubbles finally all disappeared. If installed properly, the cover is great and I like the matte look, as you cannot see fingerprints (I previously had a glossy screen cover and I hated all of the fingerprint marks). Makes the screen much less reflective and adds a very special feel to how the screen looks. Colors are clear and front camera is sharp. Does not seem to impede operation whatsoever. It is a perfect fit with the install guide. I was hesitant on the instructions with the “lift corner or edge to remove bubbles” because I’ve done that with other protectors and then the screen does not want to stick on the corner, but that’s not an issue here. I have a bubble free install. In my opinion, when there is not any dynamic content, my phone feels like a book rather than a screen, which is exactly what I was going after. I did not get the privacy screen variant so I cannot comment on the efficacy of it. However, a 2 pack at this price is pretty good. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I purchased these less than 2 months ago and both have cracked already. The first time I assumed it was my fault, I set my phone down on my couch, turned around and the screen was cracked. I put my new one on and a week later, I set my phone face down on my bed, pick it up and the screen is cracked. There is no way I’d pay for these again, if they can’t handle a soft surface what am I to expect when I actually drop my phone? Waste of time and money. ... show more

A lot of people go with Mothca, but I prefer this brand over any of the other ones.
