I wanted a lamp for my living room that cast fewer shadows and was sleeker than the lamp I replaced. As other reviewers said, this lamp is extremely easy to put together. The base is more weighty and stable than I expected. I put a much brighter bulb in it, 250 watt equivalent LED, which I have used in other lamps for years - the bulb does not overheat or damage my lamps. (Do *not* do that with a standard incandescent bulb!) This lamp is just what I wanted. It’s good quality for the price point. I am going to buy another one for the other side of my room to replace a torchiere lamp I’ve never liked much. If anyone wonders, I ordered the custom wall decal on another site. No one mentally prepares you in your late 20’a how expensive nice floor lamps are. i am the person who rarely returns things but literally bought 3 other lamps i thought i would love and retuned them all, this lamp was my last hope. she was basic, she was sleek, and she was very easy to set up. this lamp is absolutely perfect! i invested in a light bulb remote (separately) and can dim the lamp and make it yellow light or bright white. it’s a great addition to my living room no regrets ! ... show more

It’s a classy cute lamp. It was easy to assemble. Comes in two different light settings. It’s just short which I don’t like. I would have preferred a bit more taller and wider of a lamp. Good value.

Easy to assemble, although before you put the screws in it seems a little sketchy and shaky. Once the screws are in it solidifies and is way more sturdier. The lampshade comes rolled up and has to be clipped onto the supports, which was simple enough to do. This is easy to move around and works well. I haven't ever had a lamp that has a step on/off switch, but makes it easier than fumbling around looking for the switch. Hopefully the switch lasts and doesn't get worn out quickly. ... show more

Very nice. The pole is slim, the base is sturdy, and the shade couldn't be simpler or lighter in weight. The whole lamp came in a 4" high box and the parts were all neatly nestled inside, protected against shipping damage. The threads on the base and the pole sections are precisely engineered and protected against shipping damage. The shade comes with a lower "wire" section that fits to the light socket and an upper wire hoop; the shade portion is rolled up and snaps into small plastic holders on both the lower and upper hoops. That's perfect! We bought the version with a pull chain and it works just fine; we've every belief that the version with a remote control would work equally well. Great purchase!
