Relatively easy to put together. Would give 5 stars if it had been adjustable for less storage and accommodate 14” mattress and still seeing the footboard. I scoured the pictures and one showed a deeper mattress and less storage and another looked like it had holes for just that. It does not and none of the description mentions adjustment, just my wishful thinking the pictures were the genuine article. So now my mattress comes just to the top of the footboard and my dog wants to live underneath. It’s sturdy, quiet and looks great they way it is. ... show more

Very well packed but the box was heavy. Instructions were simple, brief, and easy to follow. I’m very mechanical and assembly took about one hour. A non-mechanical person can easily do it, probably in 2 hours. Everything fit perfectly and the finish was excellent.

This bed frame is amazing! I was surprised at the quality. However, I will admit that when first ordering this bed frame I was a little nervous because I read that it was hard to put together and the bolts did not fit but I did not encounter any of these issues. The directions were hard to read because they are very short but as long as you use common sense and look at the pictures I feel it is relatively easy to put together. This bed was well designed, well manufactured and well packaged. It took me a little while to assemble the bed, but I was working by myself. I would suggest a second person for the assembly if for nothing else but to hold the long pieces while you screw them together.
