This was a trial because it was on Prime Day special… great price for 2 pounds. My wife likes slightly less robust coffee; I like it a bit stronger… we find Eight O Clock Columbian Peaks to be a good compromise for our daily coffee fix. By comparison, we both thought the first cup of AmazonFresh tasted slightly “burnt” (there is a popular west coast national brand that always tastes burnt to us). But, subsequent cups that taste characteristic seemed less prominent and we’ve come to enjoy it quite a bit. We’ve used it in an upscale drip coffee maker and an automatic percolator. I personally think it is close to a similar roast from a brand named after a reindeer. My recommendation… if you like a medium roast coffee give it a shot. ... show more

Do I need 4 pounds of coffee delivered to my house each and every month? Yes I do. Do you? Hopefully not. My caffiene addiction is quite ridiculous but Amazon makes it cheap and efficient to fuel my drive! I make and drink my own black coldbrew. I order whole beans, and the grind them coarse at home, and then let my brew steep for 24 hours. These beans offer an acidic nutty note that when cut with a little water is very well balanced with a good body. Flavor is good. Didn't have to adjust more or less. When I opened the bag, I was in coffee heaven. The smell was amazing. If you are a coffee lover I don't need to say anymore about just opening the bag. I will buy this again. Great price too.
