So far, I am very happy with this. The safe is easy to use. I personally use it to store medicine in it. I mostly use the keypad, but there are times when I need to use the mechanical lock. Both of these methods to open the safe are very convenient. I love that there are two shelves. When I first ordered it, I did not realize how big it was. I love being able to fit multiple medicine, pill organizers, as well as a lot of other medicines like Tylenol, Advil, allergy meds, etc.. This safe is great for my use case, I just intend to have lockable storage for things I didn’t want to be easily accessible to others in my home while I’m not there, like my checkbook. Unfortunately, it is extremely loud and the whole house can hear when I am opening it, after less than a day of hearing this, I got tired of it and unscrewed the two screws holding the battery compartment together, and then carefully pulled out the board (I temporarily disconnected the cables just to be safe) and then I pulled the speaker off to disconnect it. I don’t know why they decided my entire household needs to know whenever I’m opening the safe, and left no way of disabling the sound, but at least it was easy to remove the speaker responsible without damaging the safe. ... show more
