2nd UPDATE: I had to change my rating to 5 stars because the tablet has been great since my last review update. No complaints at all. The sound quality isn't exceptional but for a little kid, it's more than good enough. It's easy for a parent to switch back and forth between kids and adult modes, which is nice. I would recommend to anyone else who buys this not to test it out until it's charged and has had a few hours to update or "warm up," if you will. I'm overall happy with the purchase. UPDATE: After charging the tablet to above 15%, it seems to be working much better. Apps will now load and I am able to download videos. Screen resolution is actually better than expected. I've decided to give this tablet a chance for a couple days before returning it. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 due to the fact it was initially extremely slow and unresponsive, which can lead many more people into thinking it's just not going to work. If it craps out again, I'll update my review accordingly. (Initial review)* I took a chance on this tablet after reading the reviews, thinking perhaps the people who left negative reviews just didn't know what they were doing. Turns out they were all right....this tablet is crap. It's incredibly slow and the apps don't respond when you try to open them or download a game/video. I'm sending it back today. Save yourself the same hassle and just buy an android tablet.

Amazon does not honor their warranty. After my son's tablet stopped working and will not power on, I submitted a ticket for it. The only available action was to look at tech support articles. I've tried everything, but it just won't turn on. It is really just a cheap tablet that you could buy for a fraction of the cost and put a case on. Nothing special, the real reason for the extra cost is the security of knowing if your little one breaks it within 2 years, they will replace it. Obviously that is not the case. Don't waste your money. ***UPDATE*** To recieve warranty service for the 2 year worry free warranty you have to contact customer service. You cannot return it from your orders page. After contacting customer service they did honor their warranty

This item is cool. I love the case it came with. Definitely child proof. It's for my 8 year old daughter. The only tricky thing I have faced with this item is installing an SD card for more storage and putting content onto the device. Like my own movies and such. It makes you go through hoops in order to transfer content from your computer to the device. You have to make sure that the file transfer option is enabled or you wont even see the devices storage devices on your computer. Every time you unplug it, you have to make this selection. I bought a 1TB micro SD card for the tablet(which is overkill) but I wanted to make sure my daughter had room for all her movies and t.v shows. For some reason the content would just stop transferring and I would have to go back into the device settings and change it back to file transfer for the devices SD card to even show up. Even the internal storage was not able to be seen. There are a lot of options to set up parental controls on this device which is very nice. Notifications for downloads and purchases of the like. Thats a good feature to have so that my daughter won't hike my bill up just because she decided to buy some games. Over all this was a good buy and I would recommend buying a SD card for more storage as the internal storage is only 36GB if I believe. You don't even get to use that much of it either. But all in all it runs great. Battery life is legit good and it charges well. Just make sure you use the charger that came with the tablet. Four stars in all. Well worth it in my opinion. Going to be using this device on a lot of upcoming road trips. It works wonders.
