I needed a new pair of sneakers for work. My job as an RBT requires me to be on my feet most of the day providing play-based therapy to children, so I was looking for something with good arch support and good traction for pivoting quickly, but also lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. The adidas Women's Exhibit Select 2.0 Pro Basketball shoe seemed to tick all of those boxes. Plus, they were on sale for under $25, which was a major bonus. I measured my feet and followed the manufacturer's size guide, ordering a women's size 8 which is my usual shoe size. The delivery arrived on time, with no damage to the shipment box but some damage to the manufacturer's box. The sneakers appeared undamaged but they also looked huge. I hoped it was just my imagination, but when I tried them on, there was a gap of about 2-2.5" between the end of my biggest toe and the edge of the toe box, plus a lot of heel slippage when I walked around. These sneakers were way too big for me. I double checked the sewn-in tag which confirmed they were women's size 8. While they felt supportive and lightweight, they were also quite rigid. Most importantly, they did not fit properly so I had to return them. There was no option to exchange for a smaller size and they were no longer on sale, which leaves me very disappointed overall. I'm a long-time lover of all things adidas, wearing everything from clothing to different types of footwear including soccer cleats, athletic sneakers, casual sneakers, and flip-flops/slides and have always been very happy with their products. I will still continue to be an adidas girl; however, I strongly recommend going to a brick and mortar to try on before buying to ensure proper fit. ... show more
