  • Great Tablet
Digital Storage Capacity: 16 GB Color: Blue Offer Type: 1-year Amazon Kids+
Perfect tablet for kids! The case is tough, the parental controls give me peace of mind, and my child loves the games and books. Totally worth the price.!

  • Great for toddlers, case makes it durable
Digital Storage Capacity: 16 GB Color: Red Offer Type: 1-year Amazon Kids+
Tablet quality is good, app availability is good and kid appropriate, screen quality and clarity is also good, the size is just a bit smaller than I expected, but still good for toddlers and the case makes it durable for those unexpected bumps and tosses.

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet (Ages 3–7, Purple)
Digital Storage Capacity: 16 GB Color: Purple Offer Type: 6-month Amazon Kids+
This tablet is a great value for younger kids. Setup was easy, and the included 6-month Amazon Kids+ subscription gives access to tons of ad-free content—books, games, videos, and apps from trusted brands like PBS Kids and Nickelodeon. The parental controls are simple to manage. I can set screen time limits, filter content by age, and track usage through the dashboard. Battery life holds up well—about 10 hours on a full charge with mixed use. The kid-proof case is sturdy and easy for small hands to grip. It’s not too bulky, and the built-in stand is helpful for watching videos. Storage is limited at 16 GB, but expandable with a microSD card. Performance is fine for basic tasks. It’s not super fast, but it’s reliable for what it’s meant to do. My kid had no trouble navigating the interface and quickly found favorite shows and games. Highly recommended for parents looking for a safe, affordable tablet with solid content and controls. ... show more

  • Love
Digital Storage Capacity: 16 GB Color: Blue Offer Type: 6-month Amazon Kids+
My kiddo loves his tablet. I got all the apps he loves plus learning ones too. I love how us parents can download the app on our phones to see what our kiddos are doing & to put a time on how long our kids get to use the tablet. Great quality and the screen size is perfect for my toddler. My kiddo loves the color blue so it was great that it came in a blue color protector case. It also holds battery great. The inly thing that its kinda “uhh” is that it takes a while to charge. ... show more

  • A good tablet for more gentle toddlers to grow with
Digital Storage Capacity: 32 GB Color: Purple Offer Type: 1-year Amazon Kids+
I bought this for my toddler as she's learned how to operate a basic 30-dollar tablet that was broken by her cousin. She's never been overly hard on her tablet, so I thought I'd upgrade her as she's getting old enough to start learning how to play the educational games, and the old tablet was a bit too slow for that. All that being said, let's start with the only con: it seems like sometimes YouTube (which you can't get an actual app for through Amazon, so maybe that's really the problem) causes the tabs to have to be cleared and YouTube opened back up if left running for too long, or even if the tab was left open too long without having been cleared out with the tablet even being in sleep mode. If tab isn't closed, it translates to a blank black screen, or if a video is up the video won't play. But enough about that. With that being the only real problem, I think we'll be fine lol. The durability seems to be quite decent though it thankfully hasn't been tested, but the case is soft and big enough to provide protection without fear of breaking on the first tiny drop. Sound quality is quite decent, and the screen is large enough for little eyes to make the apps and buttons easy to learn and use. ... show more

  • Amazon fire 7
Digital Storage Capacity: 16 GB Color: Red Offer Type: 6-month Amazon Kids+
Lets start off by saying the cover is a life saver. Its thick and durable. The screen is small enough for my 2.5 year old to hold and not stare at a ginormous screen. We live 2-3 hours away from family so this comes in handy for those trips. There are a few options of videos/games to play offline, so we dont even have to hot spot it or log into wifi when we are out places. The screen clarity is great. It does lag a tiny bit, when opening apps, but besides that it works great! I like that I am able to control it from an app on my phone and set timers and block off things. ... show more

  • No real parental control.
Digital Storage Capacity: 16 GB Color: Purple Offer Type: 6-month Amazon Kids+
This was a Christmas gift for my child. First, the good... It's a nice tablet! I love the way it's built... With a sturdy, protective case, and a kickstand. It's built well for little children. But... I wanted something on which I could install the apps my child enjoys using on my phone; and this operates only in the Amazon ecosystem. It offers a LOT of apps, videos, books and things, and that's great... But I don't see a way to install the apps I wanted to. I WANTED to install YouTube Kids, because there are certain YouTube channels my child likes to watch. But you can't install apps on this tablet like that. Speaking of which... I'm also not happy about having to pay for a subscription to Amazon Kids+ to use this tablet! All I wanted was a tablet on which to install FREE apps! Money is tight right now. And I thought I was buying a TABLET and that was the only money out of my pocket... But no... You have to have a subscription to Amazon Kids+ to use it. AND I wanted my child to have ANONYMOUS access to some entertainment and games... But no... You have to link it to your own Amazon account, and start a subscription to Amazon Kids+. So be aware you're not finished spending money on this when you order it. But why I'm giving it only one star... I can't block the things I DON'T want my child to see without going to a lot of trouble to do it. Amazon Kids+ has a lot of videos! But on YOUTUBE Kids, when there are video creators that we don't want our child to watch, we can block the video OR the entire channel... But on Amazon Kids, you have to block each video individually, one... at... a... time. And yesterday my child found on Amazon a particular video creator which we had blocked on YouTube, and started watching him... So I just spent nearly an hour trying to block everything by this particular creator, one video at a time! I wasn't happy. But it gets worse: Because, since my child had already watched some of his videos, those videos are shown in the "Recent" section at the top of the page... And even though I spent an hour blocking it, it STILL APPEARS in the "Recent" section! ...and I'm sitting here listening to it play right now as I'm writing this! (And yes, I'm going to step in and be a parent and stop it, but I'm making a point here.) I blocked it... I even went and searched that title SPECIFICALLY, to make sure it is blocked! Yet my child still has access to it! It's at the TOP OF THE PAGE! So I'm going to have to KEEP saying "no", and then contending with the crying. The whole point of blocking, is to remove the offending content from view, so you don't HAVE TO argue over it. Also... If you do see something you don't like... You can't block a video FROM the corner menu while the video is playing... Which would be convenient. No, you have to go into the settings and search for it. And without trying to describe the entire process, let me just say, it's tedious. Bottom line... Amazon does not WANT you to be in control of the content your child has access to. The pretense is that they are just unaware that it's not very convenient... But the truth is that it's difficult on purpose! Because ANYONE can see how to make it better! It's made this way ON PURPOSE, and it's obvious. We're not that stupid, and neither are they. They know what they're doing. This tablet could be AMAZING... But If I can't find an easier way to control the available content on this tablet, I'm going to get rid of it. So far, I'm not happy with it. Update: after a month... I hate this thing. My child wants to watch YouTube... I found what looks like a GREAT app that allows me to choose what channels are available, and everything else is blocked... That's perfect! But the free version is limited, so since the paid version isn't too outrageous, I decided to subscribe to it... But I can't complete the sign-up. It was a couple weeks ago so I can't remember what it said, but it said something like, purchases weren't enabled... So I looked to enable it - couldn't find it... had to do a lot of Google searching to find out how to enable it - finally found it... It WAS enabled. So I've been dealing with the app's limitations because I can't complete a subscription. And just now... My child wants to play a new game... But the tablet is out of storage space... So I tried to Uninstall a game or two, to make space for the new one. I clicked "Clear storage"... And nothing happens. The button indicates that it's been pressed, but nothing is cleared. I tried to find another way to clear old games, but I only see this one way, and it doesn't seem to work. So I can't install the new game. I'm so fed up with this thing. It's the most difficult device I've ever dealt with. ... show more
