I recently purchased these Amazon Essentials gold flip-flops at the start of spring, hoping to find an affordable sandal for everyday wear. After wearing them consistently for a few weeks I’ve gotten a good sense of their overall quality and comfort. One of the biggest positives is their style. The gold color is simple making them easy to dress up or down. I’ve been able to pair them with everything from athletic wear to casual dresses, which makes them a great staple piece. They’re also very lightweight, which is perfect for warmer weather or packing for trips. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. While they are comfortable at first, they don’t provide much arch support, which can make longer walks a bit uncomfortable. After wearing them for extended periods, I noticed some slight soreness in my feet. Softer, more flexible straps from the start would also improve comfort right out of the box. For shoppers, I would recommend these flip-flops if you’re looking for a stylish, budget friendly option for light use rather than something for long distance walking. I was pleasantly surprised by these flip flops. I wear an 8 in womens and they fit perfectly. I also have pretty wide feet and ordered a wide size and they fit perfectly that way too. They seem durable, are comfortable and wear nicely but I am disappointed that they already have 2 small spots where the material is wearing already. I will say I wear these a lot, nearly every day for a few hours at least, sometimes more, so maybe that's why they have the 2 spots of wear already. Overall I'm happy with these! ... show more

I haven't tried wearing these to walk long distances but the times I have worn them they don't hurt my feet I was looking for some similar sandas on other websites and they were all 20-30$ for some sandals?! These are good quality, a good price and pretty comfy

Love 'em. Closest thing to being barefoot! After receiving the first pair, have proceeded to buy them in other colors. They're comfortable, fit like a glove and enhance the look of my foot. I also don't think they'll come apart as quickly as some reviews say. I won't be too hard on them, plus, if they do wear out quicker than a thicker sandal, am thinking I'd be happy to buy again. My foot is considered an 8 1/2 wide but I bought a 9. Will be ordering the pink ones next! :D ... show more
