This was much heavier than expected. Warm, soft and comfortable. Size small was perfect for me at 5'3", 125 lb. I like the fact that it is was not clingy or tight in the body or arms. Not overly long, so good fit if you are on the petite side. I have not washed it yet, so hope it will hold up over time.

This sweater is so much thicker and warmer than I expected. The material is fuzzy, soft, and stretchy. I’m normally a 18/20W, 2X, 42D bra. The XXL fit well with room to spare. I’m 5’10” and the sleeves were a little long, reaching to about my mid-hand point, where my fingers start. This could be worn with another shirt under it because it does stretch easily and I have plenty of room in it. The navy blue is a true navy blue, in my opinion. When I first pulled it out if the package I thought the material would be itchy, but it’s amazingly not. It’s a little less structured than I thought it would be, so I’m not sure I would wear this to work. It has more of a casual vibe to it. Plus, dog hair, lint, etc. stick to it and is difficult to get off without using a lint roller and a lint roller pulls some of the sweater fuzz off. With two dogs, it was a losing battle keeping the hair off of it and I gave up. After a couple of hours of normal wear and one quick dog cuddle, the front of my sweater was covered in hair that I had difficulty getting off. Lint and dog hair aside, this would be great on a very cold winter day or for sitting in front of a bonfire.

This sweater is probably the thickest sweater I've ever found here in the U.S. It's very warm to wear, a great outfit on a cold winter night. The woven pattern is also pretty and stylish which usually can only be found in hand woven sweaters. So, I am glad that I can still have this hand woven like sweater. However, it's a little bigger than my size. I'm 4'10' petite and this small size sweater still looks bigger on me. As you see, this sweater's sleeves cover my two hands completely which look quite different in style compared with how it looks like on the model in the product description. Also, the sweater only reaches the model's waist but covers most of my butt. Nevertheless, it still fits me, just a little bigger than intended.

This sweater surprised me when I got it. I figured it would be lightweight or cheap feeling. It's pretty thick and super soft. I actually had to check to see if there was angora or something similar in it but there isn't. It's a loose fit and definitely not form fitting. It feels cozy on. It is a boxy cut and I wish it were a tad longer, but I have a long torso so this a common problem for me. If I put my arms up half of my stomach is exposed. I'm not into crop tops nor am I into having my midsection out during the winter so that's really the only negative for this sweater to me.

I’ve tried a few Amazon sweaters and it’s hard to get fit, design and color to all work….so I’m super pleased to declare this one a winner, 3 for 3, it particularly shines on fit - Amazon Essentials Sweater - Espresso - Medium. It has a loose, but flattering profile, it doesn’t go bulky. The scoop neck is high, not quite a cowl. The knit has a good feel, the weave is quite thick and strong yet not restricting - super comfortable. Length is good too, slightly short so no gathering at the hips, it falls straight, flattering. The Espresso brown color has some pep, tilts more cool than warm, I get hints of rust. I’m 5’5” 135lbs, 34 A/B, medium is a perfect fit.
