However, this blazer was just was I was looking for in terms of style, cut, color, and fit. I am 5’7 and it hit me perfectly at the waist. It fastened with ease and didn’t snug or gap weirdly. It has nice deep pockets, I was able to hold my phone and keys easily. Perfect shade of black and not too thick or thin but perfect material. This jacket is well made with detail in the stitching on arms and pockets. The fabric is sturdy and a bit heavier than what I was thinking. It will be a good jacket for Fall/ Winter and early Spring depending upon your location. It has no contrast colored stitching so you can dress it up with jewelry or a pop of color with a camisole or blouse you wear it with. The length is perfect and hit below the waist. The arm length was a tad long on me, but I just folded up the cuffs, no problem- actually, I prefer that for a more casual look. Sized down one size from the recommended size. The overall style is well oversized, long, and overwhelms my body. Do like the weight and softness. The fabric feels comfortable, slightly stretchy and did not need ironing. However, the fit is odd. The sleeves are too long, which is an easy fix, but the sleeve width doesn't match the rest of the garment. There is no ability to let out the sleeve seam as it has a serged edge with no extra fabric. There is no lining, but it is heavy enough to lay ok without it.
