I bought this sweater for the color, predominantly. I am very pleased that it seems true to the photo, a dark burgundy. When I took it out of the package, it looked way too big and long. I’m typically on the border between medium and large so I got the large. It’s still slightly big but I don’t like tight clothes at middle age. It’s very comfortable and lightweight, could be layered. This sweater hasn’t been washed yet, if that changes its shape, I’ll update my review. For now, I’m happy and would purchase this in other colors. To wear it under a blazer or jacket, I’d probably size down. ... show more

    • The sweater is like a fake cashmere. I liked it right away
This has an Amazon tag that seems to be made in China, but the sizes measure true to US sizes and are pretty close to the sizes of department stores in the US. 2x is relatively true, but I would size up one for a layered shirt look. This sweater is thin and great at 70 degrees. Or warm interiors that you do not want to get too warm near the fire. Good for California in December which is where I live, keep the arms warm but not too hot for Sunny weather. I find it warm enough but nice coverage for my bust at 44F I ordered 2 x. It has a mock turtleneck coverage, which is what I like and it is a nice stretch in case you ordered too small. I think it is fitting true to size.I ordered the green and it is a true forest or viridian green. I like this with the Holiday season it is festive. It feels like soft cashmere and was a surprise for the price. You could wear this to a party or with a nice scarf for an elegant look, or plain for a sporty look. I like that it can be nice for dining out or just watching TV. It runs a little short so those who are long-waisted it will come mid pelvis and short-waisted like me but busty, it will be just below the pelvic bone. I absolutely love the lightweight sweater top. The material is soft as well. Feels nice on the skin. Hangs well on the body. I and 5’5” and 136 lbs, and a D cup. It’s very flattering. I have bought them now in 3 colors. It doesn’t stretch out. The quality is great.

This is nice for $16- a fair price. I was pleasantly surprised. The fabric is soft, and roomy but not sloppy. Great color. I got the light sage. Its warmer than your average cotton mock t-neck. I got size XL. I weigh 160 at 5'3". (40" breast and 38" hips.) It falls just above the thighs. I wear a size 10-12 in most things. Due to thickening of my middle, I prefer sizes that do not reveal my rolls. I don't get hung up on label sizes. There's a little give (stretch) but if you buy the right size you will not need it.
