I’m writing this review after trying the sweater a couple of times. For reference, I’m 188 lbs and about 5’2”. I ordered a size Medium in the Camel Heather color. If you like a more fitted look, Medium works well and feels true to size but personally, I’d go with a Large next time for a slightly looser, more relaxed fit. The material is really nice and soft, lightweight, and comfortable without feeling cheap. I’ve washed it twice in cold waters so far, and it has held its shape very well with no shrinking or stretching. The knit feels durable but still breathable, which makes it great for layering. This is a perfect lightweight sweater for fall days. The color is beautiful and matches what you see in the photos. It pairs easily with jeans or leggings, and you can dress it up or down. I like these sweaters! Quality is good and colors are beautiful. I got them for summer because my office is always very cold. They are lightweight and comfortable. However!!! I'm a size 8 and 36DD and ordered large. The sweater definitely runs small. I expected a semi loose fit and it is more slim fit. Can't beat the price though!! I really like this sweater. I bought a bunch of colors. The v-neck is not too low. It has a bit of stretch and is quite soft. I haven't washed it yet, but I imagine there will be a bit of shrinkage, like most of my other Amazon Essential's brand sweaters. It has no smell out of the package. I am 5' and 160lbs right now . I typically wear a Large or XL depending on the style, however, I found this to be roomy, but not roomy enough for me, so I ordered an XXL (very unusual for me). I like my sweaters to be roomy and cozy and not form fitting. I could have been fine with an XL but didn't like how it wore close it was to my belly when I sat down, which is not flat. And I'm taking into account the wash/dryer and it shrinking. The XXL on me is definately "big" but it hides my belly more and is has more room around my chest which is a 36D, and again, I don't mind it bunched a bit and the cozy feel. I can't comment in the pilling which others have written but time will tell. Can't beat the price. ... show more

A nice, lightweight pullover, polyester blend, fits slightly large. Nice colors, comfy. I bought three of them. Note: this comment goes for every clothing item from Amazon Essentials: the large, very tightly sewn-in "Amazon Essentials" tape/tag is scratchy, irritating and very hard to remove. We know the brand: we just bought the sweater. If it is necessary to install the Amazon name inside every clothing item, then I hope it knows that the Amazon name stands for discomfort, cussing and wasted time. Figure about 30 minutes'-worth of picking carefully with a seam ripper - if you have one - to get rid of the tags, and better hope you don't put a hole in the item you just bought in the process. I first ordered this sweater for my 19-year-old daughter who lives in a very cold climate and needs layers. This is a thinner sweater that is nice and soft with a V-neck that isn't too low. It has beautiful color choices. When it arrived for Christmas wrapping I realized I needed one for myself. I mistakenly ordered a size smaller than I usually wear because I wanted a particular color and it only came in the smaller size. When I received it, the size fit me great! I am usually a size medium, I accidentally ordered the small, but it is stretchy enough, it actually fits very well. For reference, my bust is a 36DD, and I have long arms being 5'10" tall. The small has nice long sleeves, and the V-neck isn't too low. It does fit closer to my skin than my daughters medium which I tried on after she suggested it, So if you are ordering, order your regular size unless you like your thinner sweaters to be closer fitting. Since it is stretchy, you could size down. Or, just order one in each of the different sizes and see what you think. Amazon makes this sweater very affordable. I don't know yet about how this sweater washes, but I use mesh laundry bags and will probably wash it in cold on delicate inside out in that little bag.
