I've been looking for a lightweight sweater that is a good layering piece but also looks good on its own. This is it. Sleeves are long enough and the overall length is at low hip...I'm 5'7". The light grey and oatmeal heather seem to run larger than the dark grey or burgundy in the same size. The sweaters are thin but not see thru. They're well constructed and soft. The fit is slightly relaxed not at all boxy. I dry everything on low and these haven't shrunk or pilled. These are nice looking sweaters.

This turned out to be one of my favorite light weight sweaters. It’s prefect for cool fall evenings or worn layered with something else in the winter. I wear mine often times with a down vest during winter months. I have this same sweater in black also. I love that it’s a v-neck sweater. It’s not overly fitted which is my personal preference, not bulky either. It’s comfy and flattering and comes in a variety of colors so chances are I’ll get another one….or two. Washes very well, no noticeable shrinkage, and holds it shape.

It's been really hard to find basic, lightweight, full-length sweaters (like the ones I've bought/worn my entire life) lately since most in-store sweaters are the trendy, chunky, crop-top, box-shaped monstrosities that are currently in fashion. So, I was relieved to find these reliable, full-length, v-neck, tapered sweaters in a variety of colors. The material could be nicer, but I it isn't uncomfortable or cheap-looking, so it's fine. The fit is a little more relaxed/slightly loose, but this is nice because I can just size down if I want a more snug fit. The color selection could be better/more expansive, but I still recommend these reliable, pair-with-anything- sweaters.

Unfortunately the sweater arrived after I had already left for vacation, but now that I have finally gotten the opportunity to wear it, it's perfect. I layered it with a high neck tank and I love the sporty look. It is soft and has just the right amount of stretch.

⭐⭐⭐ My experience with the Amazon Essentials Women's Classic-Fit Lightweight Long-Sleeve V-Neck Sweater has been average, warranting a three-star rating from me. While the fit is acceptable, I've found the fabric quality to be lacking. One notable aspect is the low-quality fabric used in the sweater. It feels thin and doesn't provide much warmth, which is disappointing, especially for a long-sleeve sweater. Additionally, the overall construction feels less durable compared to other sweaters I've owned. On the positive side, the fit is decent, and the sweater is true to size. However, given the subpar fabric quality, I'm unsure about its longevity and durability with regular wear and washing. This is a basic black sweater that is very useful. It is lightweight so will be useful in Spring, Fall and Winter. It was not expensive and I had my doubts about purchasing it, but it washes well and has not pitted or shrunk. I wash it on the "Hand Wash Wool" setting, and hang it to dry. It can be layered or worn alone. It looks stylish with a crisp white shirt underneath. It also looks good with either silver or gold jewelry or a pretty scarf. It is a very useful addition to my wardrobe.

Sweater fits just right. It's soft & I really like the Blue Cheetah print. V Neck is medium low cut - not deep - so it has a professional look for work. I got a Small - am 5'6, 128 lbs. It has a natural tapering to the waist & fits well but does show the waistband & drawstring of sweatpants - so would look best on me with a pair of leggings or yoga type pants that are smoother in the waist.
