This is a very lightweight, fine gauge sweater that is ultra soft, warm and cozy. I purposely got it oversized because I like a loose, roomy fit and love the way it feels on my skin. This is a perfect weight for layering if you need something for the holidays as being a classic style, you can always dress it up with accessories after you shed your winter outerwear. The ONLY thing that I would change is putting the tags at the neck down along a side seam so that it doesn't irritate the back of my neck, which might just be a 'me' thing, but I really don't like tags back there. Along the low side seam is a better placement, imho, otherwise, a fantastic classic piece to add to my wardrobe at a very reasonable price point. I hope that helps!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Amazon Essentials sweater as it’s one of those rare pieces that hits the perfect balance between comfort, quality, and style without breaking the bank. The fabric feels soft against the skin but still has enough structure to hold its shape, and the knit is thick enough to be cozy without feeling bulky. What sets this sweater apart from other basic pullovers I’ve tried is the cut and attention to detail. The fit is flattering without being tight, the sleeves drape nicely, and it layers well over shirts or under jackets. I like these thin sweaters in fact, I bought three of them but now that I have them, I feel like they are too long. It just looks awkward because they’re so long. They’re hard to tuck in and then if you don’t tuck them in and leave them untucked you have to make sure you’re wearing them over a thin pants because you don’t want bulky underneath. I like the quality of these shirts is really good. I just wish they were quite so long and quite so stretchy and I wish the leaves weren’t too long sleeves, not leaves. No I’m not going back to change it. I think this is good. It’s got some have to it, but I wouldn’t say it’s thick at all. Very comfortable. No buttons material was actually very good. It looks like a much more expensive product color was good and saturated looked just like it appeared the picture like the opacity. It was good and thick enough where your bra doesn’t show underneath.

Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight-Long-Sleeve-High Turtleneck Sweater in Black arrived today. The top was packaged in shrink wrap and then in an outer brown, paper bag. Upon removal, the sweater did not have any smell from the plastic packaging. Surprisingly, the sweater was not very wrinkled. I will wash this in cold water and hang dry. I purchased the XXL size. I am 5’ and 175#’s. The sweater fits close to the body but does not cling to this real women’s lumps and bumps. I am usually cold and will wear this high turtleneck sweater under a barn jacket or a jean jacket or a flannel button down shirt this Fall & Winter. The material is very soft and not at all scratchy when on the body. Black is a great neutral and the sweater can be dressed up with real or costume jewelry. It may be worn under a wool pea coat; short puffer jacket; a motorcycle jacket; long sweater; blazers; etc.. This will be a wardrobe staple in women of all ages wardrobes. The price is ultra competitive and I would urge you to try the Amazon Brand Fisherman's Sweater and the Cable Knit Sweater. For those in the Midwest or Up North or in countries with harsh winters- these turtleneck sweaters will become invaluable because they are so versatile. The price is great so buying a neutral and maybe a couple of colors on the Amazon Marketplace will be easy. These sweaters would make lovely gifts for the Holidays or a Fall/Winter Birthday or a Just because gift for that special someone in your life. Great quality and value and very versatile sweater. Great layering piece I wanted a warming layer and I love fine knit turtleneck Amazon basics are a great staple: this item has a great selection of colors which are true to the screen. The item is soft to the skin and warm as a layer and even on its own. It is a nice length covers the stomach and goes mid thigh. I am between sizes at this moment so went with the smaller size (XL) and it fits great I haven’t washed it but have worn it several times and there is no pilling I will be ordering more colors as the price is great Highly recommend

I'm a fan of turtle neck sweaters. This is my first time to buy them on line. I bought many pieces of different color each. Most of them are true to the size, except for the ivory color. I am size S, The ivory size S runs very long (reaching mid of butt) and loose. There is no waist line fit, but just look like a loose cylinder. The eyelets are loose which make it feel thin to the touch. I don't think it can keep me warm. However, the rest of colors are true to the size (reaching upper hips as you can see on the models) and look good with waist line cutting. When I was wondering how come the same size S fit so dramatically different, I realized that the ivory color is made in Vietnam, and all of the rest I bought were made in Bangaladesh and China. I already cut the labels and couldn't return the ivory ones. Though, I am still happy with the rest .

I was skeptical 🫤 at first because I was worried that this sweater would be too thin but Amazon did a great job! So good I purchased three colors and they were such a deal. Not top thin or see through, no snags or loose strings. The turtle neck is not too tight but not loose. Just right. Slimming and stylish. Can wear it under clothing or by itself. Dress it up or down with jeans and cute 👢 boots. Would look nice under a cardigan or blazer for work. Excellently made. Soft material.

The sage green color in photo doesn't do it justice. Color is actually a very pretty light aqua-y green shade. Still in its packaging, this top looked like an expensive silk sweater. On, even more so. Fabric is soft and good quality, turtle neck is comfortable and not tight. Sweater is airy and light, but not see through. The perfect layering piece. Length hits about 28" on me as I am abt 5'4" and large chested and i chose the XL. Which is my true top size and it fits fine, right where i need it to be. I was comfortable in this sweater in a 75 degree environment without getting too hot. It's not overly stretchy, so order your current size. As I am full-figured the upper arm sleeves fit snugly, but not tight; but the arm seam doesn't stretch so here's hoping it won't shrink. I will be ordering more colors, especially this same sage color. Good job Amazon! I highly recommend this sweater!
