This is a lightweight turtleneck sweater. Too thick for "close body" layering. The neck is not so tight as to be restrictive, but is not baggy either. Perfect for fall and spring coolness. The color is exactly as shown (dark pink). I handwashed before first wear and the color did not run out in the water as some red-family items do in other brands. I line dryed as recommended so it did not shrink either. Love this lightweight turtleneck.

I was really on fence with which size to get -- M or a L. I got a Medium based on other reviews w/height/weight recs. I should have gotten a large, as it is a bit more fitted than I expected based off model pics. Large may have been a bit wide across armpits though. I am 148 lbs, 5' 4", 33 D in a bra and typically wear a medium in most tops (sometimes a large). I'm not in shape in the love handle area, but there is no overhang on my pant waistband. Pants I'm an 8, rarely a 10. This was just a bit more fitted in the tummy/waist than I was hoping for in a sweater like this. I'd label this as a straight fitted cut, or like a long and lean cut shirt. It *just* fits without stretching in the torso, but I can't eat in it, or be bloated, or wearing mid rise pants and have it appear forgiving on days like that. The bust area fit great, so I feel like if I went up to Large it will fit weird in armpits. I would have also liked it a tad bit longer too. All around nice for sale price without a doubt, but would be returned if I paid full price.

These are very nice quality and on the lighter less chunky side but still a sweater. Just what I wanted. I ordered medium which I am likely around a size 6 in tops and the fit is just right. Not too snug. So yes I ordered several different colors now as this will be my every day sweater.
