I've been playing around with this in different roles, and find that I like this brush best for blush/bronzer/contour application. It has the density and stiffness needed to blend well (as the name suggests), but the brush head is smaller than I would like from a brush foundation or setting powder. This is the third (distinct) brush from elf that I've ever purchased, and both of those fell apart after around a year of heavy use. I think this brush is definitely sturdier than those were at this stage, with no noticeable shedding yet after two washes. ... show more

I have higher end ones. Elf is just as good for a much cheaper price. I have a few of these. They're nice and dense and buffs the makeup (cream/ powder) perfectly and easily. Don't confuse this with the one with the small brush (concealer) on the opposite side. It's OK for a little bit of powder on the nose but doesn't do the job that this one does!
